I also bought the BYOT activation kit from Walmart, & had the same issues of being disconnected after 30+ minutes on the phone. It has been 5 days now and still no service. I am planning go going back to AT&T. I suggest that tablet service from StraightTalk should be discounted. I will inform everyone I know,about the poor service from customer service. This is all BS. I am very unhappy and disgusted with Straight Talk wireless support service which is absolutely of no value. I purchased a phone through Walmart for straight talk wireless on July 7th, and did not discover the phone had problems until after the 15 day return policy with Walmart. after discovering the problems past the 15 day return period, I contacted Straight Talk support in India to no avail... I purchased a galaxy S4 from Walmart and the phone will NOT update from 4.3 to 4.4 kit kat. I called straight talk customer service many times trying to resolve the issue. My phone was determined to be defective. I was told I needed to send the phone back before they would send a replacement. I am a single mother and can not be without a phone. Around mid-July 2015, I go another phone from my new company with service by Verizon and called ST to reduce my plan from $45 to $30 since I was forwarding the calls to my new cell.
