I was part of the bring your own phone. After waiting 18hrs for my new phone to be active I decided to call customer service. They then told me they put the wrong sims number in the system. Now I hove to non active phones because they have to send me a new sims card. Thats 3-5 business days without a phone! ! Thanks straight talk im going to Verizon !! Read more

I have been a straight talk customer for a year and a half now. After my experience of being hung up on, spoken to in a hostile manner, threatened, and denied access to speak with a manager; all I can say is that if you just need a cheap service with no one to help you, this service will work. When I first switched to straight talk it was from Verizon Wireless.. and if it weren't for the higher prices with my previous carrier I would have most definitely stayed. A couple things that really irritated me is when I first went to activate my new phone for straight talk. Another fun encounter with their customer service. I tried to add a device to my account online. Could not get it to work. They tried to add it, but only succeeded in removing the one phone that was in that (online) account! They have promised that it will show up in "24 hours". Do I believe them? Not on my life!! Please contact me. Those *** idiots almost gave me a heart attack. I had to deal with them yesterday. I wanted to start my old phone back up. you would think that would be easy. 4 hours of tech support and 2 days of missed work later. I've been with ST going on 4 years with real complaints until recently. My plan includes low speed and 3GB high speed data "UNLIMITED" $45 for 30 days. Now after three years of being with ST I've been receiving text messages stating "alloted high speed data limit has been reached" and that my data speed will be reduced for the remainder of my plan's 30 day cycle.
