But after buying a new plan with mire data and then switchung back to my usual $45 plan, straight talk has sent me a text sayung my data has been slowed down to 2g. My samsung galaxy sky will display a notification at top of screen that says searching for service, when im in local areas. Then it will say i am roaming and i wont be able to make calls or text message. Then i will have messages and missed calls pop up randomly at times that i have missed because the service is such ***!

Prepaid service that forces you to stay with them because they use a backdoor loophole to get you into a contract. *** them. Make sure you read every word in the terms and conditions. The sneek wording into their policy that is really a contract.

I was with straight talk for years and it always became a hassle so my husband and I swap to Verizon contract .I give my son straight talk for Christmas now it says the 30.00 card is not compatible ...i guess I'd be better off get him on a plan with us .
I ordered two sim cards for an unlocked phone. Fed -Ex was the carrier. They show up after waiting 4 days and put a door tag on my door while I and another family member, and dog were home. They did not bother to knock on the door, even though two cars are in the driveway. So I call Straight Talk and they could have cared less. I've been with Straight Talk for years. I just bought a Samsung Galaxy 5 two weeks ago and the battery gets super hot, screen too. I don't leave my WiFi or data on when I'm not using it (using the phone or when the display is off), I don't let apps run in the background, I only have it sync once a day, I never turn on location services, no live wallpaper, screen timeout is at 1 minute, my touch keys don't light up, no Bluetooth or GPS...etc...I...Read more
