Straight Talk Wireless - Transfer service from Straight Talk to Straight Talk phone

I spent $324 on a Samsung Galaxy SII from Wal-Mart for my husband. He kept telling me that it wouldn't charge, so I took it to the repair shop and spend $48 getting a new charging port ordered and installed. Now we have a $372 paper weight because he can't find the OLD sim card, that is no good anymore, they will not change his service back to that phone. I just had the same problem last month when I tried to reactivate my windows phone that I had ported over to them and used for over a year! I called and they said I needed a new sim card, so they mailed me a new one but told me the old one was no longer any good, so I threw it away! I have now switched back to AT&T!!! Straight Talk is a piece of *** company with no English speaking reps!

Straight Talk Wireless - Phone number changed

My service interruption date was 9-23-2013. My phone was interrupted and deactivated on 9-10-13. I purchased another card to activate my phone. It ddidn't work. I then contacted customer service, and was told to take the battery out and submitt the serial number inside the phone. My phone was then reactivated. Two days later I made calls to several of my customers, I was notified that I was calling from a diffrent number. I then checked, and they changed my phone number without my knowledge. Three days later my number was changed back. My phone was deactivated again on 10-06-13, and I was told that the service pin that I purchased on 9-10-13 was placed to a diffrent number by customer service. Now I'm out of $45.

Straight Talk Wireless - WARNING

Here is a WARNING for all Straight Talk customers. If you are purchasing a plan online and receive any type error from the straight talk website, or you briefly loose your internet connection.. DO NOT continue the transaction. Close the browser window and start over from scratch or you WILL be double charged. The worst part is it takes 30 days to receive a refund for their mistake. Why is it "their" mistake you say? It's simple, as a full time programmer i can tell you it is a severe coding mistake that adds the same query twice to the sql database without checking for duplicate attributes. To make matters worse they are VERY aware of this issue, and have been for several years now with no attempts to correct it. Also, calling customer service will get you no where 95% of the time, as they are unable to handle the volume of calls. The best, and Fastest way to get issues resolved is to use LIVE CHAT via Facebook.

cada ves que un dia no poner mi saldo al dia siguiente pongo el saldo medan otro numero ya no me dan mi numero actual dice que no se puede asi de facil me contesta y me an cambiado como diez veces abla costumer sevicio que me ayuden dice que no pueden.y se nojan que que le dices.ya no me gus ta.nose como dice si tiene otro telefono y quieres mantener tu numero de telefono te lo hacemos y como no puede darte tu numero patras eso no entiendo .cual es la diferencian y mucha le an pasando ingual y mejor se cabian al verizon wireles s ayi si pases 30 dias tovia si dan tu mismo numero

Straight Talk Wireless - VERY poor signal almost everywhere

Straight talk USED to say they used the AT&T network. I bought their phone, only to find out that it uses the Tracfone network. Signal is terrible, almost everywhere outside of a major city. In the suburbs, I can drive for miles without signal. In upstate PA, I drove approx 100 miles before receiving the cache of voicemails and messages from the weekend. Wherever I go, they disappoint me. My friends phones always have signal from other carriers. DO NOT waste your money. Have Walmart activate your phone in the store, and see if you have signal before you buy it. I bet you do not.

Straight Talk Wireless - *** customer service

Same here. I have had nothing but problems with this company. No one told me that I had to send my defected phone in or that they needed it before they would ship me a new one. My phone is virtually useless. It will not stay on more than 10 seconds before it cuts off and with the battery at full charge. The screen completely freezes then cuts off. I have to remove the battery and power up that way every time I want to turn in on. I can't text, go online, receive calls, or navigate my menus. I have problems in the past with their phones but nothing this severe. I just applied a phone card two days before my phone finally killed over. They refuse to refund my money because I bought the card at Walmart. Then the customer service rep changed her mind all of the sudden and told me that I needed the receipt from walmart even though my account clearly states when and how much I added. They are basically telling me that I'm SOL. I told them *** no. I will not stop until someone makes it right.

Straight Talk Wireless - Scary what companies have access to regarding personal info

I recently bout a straight talk cellphone and phone card. I had no issues with the company until I noticed a random charge on my credit card. Come to find out it was an insurance plan for my phone that I never authorized. Funny I've never even given the company my card number. I only bought the phone card through walmart. Obviously I was extremely upset and felt violated. I spent 3 hours calling the company and every number they gave me to find "correct" the issue.After getting the run around I gave up. Nobody would help me or answer as to how the got my card number. I buy with cash now.
