Screwed By Straighttalk | Straight Talk Wireless review from Chantilly, Virginia

I have only had my straighttalk phone for 2 weeks and I'm already having issues! I have a big error message on the screen covering all of my apps and no one can figure out how to fix it. I spent over an hour on the phone with 4 different people and they agreed to replace my phone. Fine, Ive done that before but, they want me to mail in my phone 1st and wait for a replacement! I even offered to pay a deposit so that I didn't have to go w/out a phone for 2 weeks and they wouldn't work with me at all! Thought I would save some $ but you really do get what you pay for! :(

I've had straight talk for about six months now. I went into my phone to retrieve information from a voice mail message I saved about four weeks ago.

The only messages in my phone are from within the last week. I called straight talk to find out what happened to my messages. An hour later, and two people and two "supervisors" later, I still don't have an answer. I learned through my cousin who works for Verizon that when they say they will speak to a supervisor, they're actually not speaking to anyone.

They just put us on hold. Bottom line, you are right that you get what you pay for.

I guess I was expecting too much out of $45 a month. I'm going back to sprint and am willing to pay double.

Straight talk is the worst phone service I have ever had. they never can solve any of my issues I'm having with my hone. none of this staff speaks good English.. The workers are rude. I hate i switches to rip off straight talk.. Will be leaving straight talk very soon.. I would advise anyone not to use the phone carrier straight talk they just want your money and don't care how your service is.. I see why Verizon is chosen over straight talk.. The worst decision of my life was switching to straight talk.. Verizon im coming home.. Can't beat Verizon they are very loyal to their customers.. Im super passed tf off..

Had Straight Talk with AT&T for 2 weeks. NO Service and disconnected 2 times in one week, plus Customer Service is the worst ever- they hang up on you and you end up on hold an hour with someone that can barely speak English. They decided on their own I need new sim cards- they were working fine- but service was indeed spotty. The day I went back to Verizon, Straight Talk refused to port my number! They decided on their own to disconnect my number- then why were they sending me a new SIM card???? Worst service out there. STAY AWAY. Also they lie- they only have access to 25% of large carrier towers, so service is very spotty.

Servie end date, No answer when calling | Straight Talk Wireless review from Burlington, New Jersey

i activated my phone transferred my number, two days later then ended my service, today is 2/27/2014 and i am trying to call them and getting no answer. i am about to go sign a 2 year contract with someone just so i don't have to deal with these people anymore, i am on a check to check basis right now and don't have time to play around with this BS!!!!!!!! I get put on hold, we all know what it says then the whole line goes silent, i start a new job today and i need to keep in contact with people. I hate Straight Talk Nothing but problems.

Worst Company Ever! | Straight Talk Wireless review

I have had the worst experience I have ever had with this company. Service is ok, rarely see any more than 2 bars in the bay area and have to restart my phone every other day (Not the phone swapped phone while having this provider). The high speed till 2.5gb of use is absolute ***, at lest than 1.3 gb my account was reduced to lower than 2g speed (which it should be 2g not lower)! According to them, the estimated average is 1 mbps (for 2g) I was getting 0.04-0.08 mbps which is no where close to the 1 mbps. The customer service is horrible! My only solution with them was to cancel my service and go to another company. I originally contacted them about reducing my speed before it should be, which then kept going and I finally deiced to leave that be and just try to get that 1 mbps that I deserve. The solution for that was canceling my service the costumer support person I was talking to when I asked him to cancel my auto-pay did not even say anything to get me to stay telling me that the obviously don't care about there costumers and it was not just a costumer care person it was the a manager! which is the highest rank you can get to with out being on hold for 20-60 min or even longer. This is really sad that there support and care for the customers is not at all there. If you ever got frustrated with customer support after being on the phone with them for an hour? Times that by 10 because I was on the phone with them for over 4 hours with no solution to my problem! If you were thinking about getting this service at all I hope you are no longer thinking about it. If you are I wish you the best of luck.

Rude Customer Service Representative | Straight Talk Wireless review from Charlotte, North Carolina

I had to speak with exactly 9 people before getting a resolution to my problem. They were all nice. The 9th representative gave me a direct number, pin code, and 2 months free. However, the 10th representative was horrible, stating that there was no information on the computer, and "we will not be honoring the 2 free months," with much accented arrogance. I called back and the 11th representative listen patiently while she "read my information on the computer" and confirmed everything I said. She then granted the 2 months. Customer Service needs to monitor conversations and conduct regular training if they would like offshoring to continue successfully.

Horrible customer service | Straight Talk Wireless review

My phone has become almost unusable. I called customer service and git nothing but a run around. Do not buy the extended service plan. The aggravation is not worth it. I rather pay more money and get good service than deal with them anymore. Goodbye straight talk. Hello to anyone else but. And now more aggravation just trying to submit this review. If I don't want to write 100 words what difference foes it make. Everything about your service is awful. But the tip of the iceberg is expecting me to be without a phone for 10 days. I am quite sure that you won't even send out the correct replacement.

STRAIGHT TALK WIRELESS = NO GOOD

straight talk has by far the WORST customer service of any company I have dealt with in my entire life. they are completely incompetent and under-trained. they have also lied to me to get me off the phone. promising one thing, only to be disappointed. i have called about this particular issue FOUR (4) times and just checked my account to see that, again, i have been lied to and will have to call AGAIN for the fifth time. my issue is straight talk royally screwed up my phone transfer. story short, i ended up buying a year long service plan + a 30 day service plan + they gave me a free month for the huge mess up on their part. that means my service plan, with all the time added up, should expire 3/4/15. of course, since NO ONE at STRAIGHT TALK has any idea of what they are doing (they barely speak/understand English) i'll have to call in for the 5TH time. the last four times, i tell them they need to escalate the call to a real manager (they lie and say they are a manager -- dont believe them!). they assure my the dates are changed. i call them liars. again, they assure me. i usually have to submit to their incompetence cause by then i am just so frustrated. a couple days after each call, i log back into my account only to see the dates changed back! i am done trying to get what i paid for. STRAIGHT TALK IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT SWITCH TO THIS COMPANY.
