Terrible

Terrible company. They just sent me the wrong card for my phone and refuse to do anything. Unusable! No phone service! $67 and two days of working the problem. NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON! I can't believe I fell for it.... I would never do it again... Customer service is around and around...... I'm going crazy with these people.... Arrrggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would never ever deal with these people again!!!!!! I used to love the Philippines!!!!!!! These poor people working with such *** management is really bad... It makes me think of another trip to SE Asia just to see the *** I just spoke to in person!!!!!!!!!

I bought a proclaim a week before christmas.Then i bought $45 card on 1-18-13 and i saw that there was no 3g symbol yet i could still make phone calls. so Last week i spent three hours on my work phone.

one hour on hold and two hours talking to two diffrent people to find out that i lost my 3g data. I hate to talk to ST reps because of having to constantly ask them to please repeat themselfs. anyway i had to send them my phone to receive a new one wich i am watting on. It might be in next week.I just hope that it was the phone and not because of foxfi app.

they could not tell me what happend evan if they could i dont think i would be able to understand the words comming from their mouths.CAN YOU PLEASE REPEAT THAT!!!!!!!!!!! :upset :sigh :(

Do some people just get scwewed? I just spoke to my son on his Straight Talk phone in another state, and he has had no problem with their customer service.

I was considering lowering my monthly cell cost by moving from Sprint to Straight Talk unlimited.

He's happy. I get worried though seeing some of these comments.

STRAIGHT TALK STOLE MY PHONE

When my phone quit working under warranty, I sent it to their repair center. They called and said the replacement was being sent to me. Months latter I still have no phone. Calling them is useless and as I discovered online, they do this to everyone. STRAIGHT TALK REALLY SUCKS!!!!! Anyone who is a customer will find out when they neeed help and try to call the service center on the other side of the world and have never heard english. they are thieves and i cant get anyone in the goverenment to do a *** thing about it, f them.

They're currently trying to scam me. Up until yesterday I had never heard of this company.

They somehow charged my bank account.

So, I called the company and had them refund the amount and the same day, they withdrew the same amount. I didn't receive the phone call and I'm not their customer.

Straight Talk Wireless steals your money

I bought one of their smart phones at Wal-mart. When I got it home I purchased a 30 day automatic refill data plan over the phone with my credit card. After trying for 4 hours and putting in numerous strings of numbers we could not activate the phone. Understanding their customer support was extremely difficult and frustrating. I decided the phone was never going to work - perhaps their signal was too weak here? However other phones work well. So I was advised to return the phone to Wal-Mart and wait a few days and then request a refund on the data plan. Wal-mart refunded the purchase price. They noted they had rec'd lots of returns of these Straight Talk phone. I ran into trouble when I tried to get a refund of the data plan. The said since the phone was never activated and I was never assigned a phone number they could not find any record that I had purchased a data plan. A few days later the charge appeared on my debit card. I called them back and they maintain that since I don't have the phone or a phone number there is nothing they can do. Well there is something I can do and that is to tell everyone I know to stay away from this company.

Unfortunately I used my debit card and the Credit Union cou;d not stop payment.

I think we should be complaining to Wal-Mart since they seem to be the exclusive provider of the service. In fact I am going to e-mail them right now and suggest they look at all the complaints on this web site....

Since you got no service dispute it with your credit card. They will put the charge on the side til they decide. Which should go well for you.

Straight Talk overbilled me.

I was charged by Straight on May 9, 2012 for service thru Jun 7, 2012. I never use over 300 minutes in a month. I was charged again on May 30, 2012 for service thru Jun 28, 2012. I didn't even notice they had charged early until they cut me off on June 4, 2012. I called to complain, they said they would extend my service to July 9, 2012. I said OK and 4 days later, Jun 8 2012 I was charged again. Now they say they will extend to July 9, 2012 and process a refund for the double charge but it will take up to 2 billing cycles.

Straight Talk lied to me and are the rudest people ever!!

I have never in my life been treated so horribly by any company except Straight Talk!! HAVE DEFECTIVE PHONE. GET THE RUN AROUND EVERY TIME I CALLED ABOUT IT! FINALLY TODAY A REP TOLD ME SHE WOULD SEND A REPLACEMENT PHONE, PUT ME ON HOLD TO GET IT APPROVED BY A SUPERVISOR. FIVE MINUTES LATER SHE GOT BACK ON SAYING HE APPROVED IT AND WILL BE SENDING ME A NEW PHONE AND HE WILL CONFIRM ALL MY INFO. SO, FINALLY AFTER TALKING TO THREE OTHER PEOPLE (AND THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE ALL THE OTHER DAYS), WHO HAD NO CLUE WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND FOR AN HOUR, I WAS GETTING HELP..... Call straight talk/net10! Hours will fly by and you will be amazed by how many times you repeat yourself, and nothing gets accomplished.

Straight Talk is HORRIBLE!

Voice recognition software does not undestand spoken English. The customer Service doesn't either. Have a problem? The help you do get, their mind is already made up about your problem before you finish explaining it to them! I called Directory assistance and wanted a non-emergency number for a police department it gave me a number for a Lowe's Home Improvement center on the opposite side of the country. It's a bad buy. The phone does not send photos like it should. Can not use other apps that should run on it and it's just a waste of money. The aggravation it provides is not worth the $45 a month. It drops calls all the time. I have to constantly call people back sometimes up to 15 times in a 5 minute period. I am going to take this phone and run the car over it. Walmart doesn't car that it is selling the crappiest phone on the market.

i bought my phone is 2015, had the bring your own phone card sim card (straight talk card) activated it - used it for 2 years, then gave it to my son. he has been using it ever since.

i changed bank cards and updated my card at straight talk for both our phones for auto-refill. His phone was cut off overnight and now i was on the phone for 3 hours ans tranfered to 5-6 different people and told the IMMIE number is no good, the SIm card is no good- his phone is no good and i called his number- after they took my money and the number belongs to someone else

I truly understands fully what everyone is saying. My phone number has been stolen not once but twice within a two month span.

When I talk to an rep. they give me the run around. Both men were arguing with me to say that I had transferred my number to another phone. Okay !!!!!!

If that was the case, why would I waste my time being on the phone with you, at this point, over 2 hours. COME ON NOW LETS GET REAL ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!! Then I have one to tell me the reason my phone was off because I needed to activate it. WOW!!!!!!!

When I asked was there any program in place to keep this from happening, he say yes your security question.

WELL I'M HERE TO TELL YOU THE SECURITY QUESTION DOESN'T MEAN A THING. THEY CAN STEAL YOUR NUMBER.I work too hard for my money and I have to have an active number due to sick and family.

IF WE ALL GET TOGETHER WITH THESE COMPLAINTS, MAYBE THEY WILL FIX THIS ISSUE. :( :( :( :(

Taking Phone Numbers for no reason

This has happened to me, my father-n-law, my uncle, and a few of my friends.. Just out of the blue (in the middle of service), changing phones, or activating a new sims card, Straight talk takes our numbers away..? They ask if we wanna keep our same number and tell them yes, but when everything is done, we have a new number.. A friend of mine still had two weeks of service left on her phone and went to make a call, and had a new number?? My uncle went to add time on his phone after just 1 day of being out of time, and they changed his number. My father-n-law had to have a new sim card, I called to have it activated for him and they asked, "same number?" I told them yes and then he had soo much trouble getting his phone reactivated with the same number... And its a business line!!! I got on the phone with straight talk manager and they wouldnt do nothin to help.. I told her they was about to lose 4+ customers, and she says "I cant help that"... Now, I am not a business owner, but I know with a business, your supposed to try to keep your customers satisfied and keep them from wanting to go to a different company, right? Im done with straight talk.. I would rather spend an extra $5 a mth for verizon or at&t for unlimited everything, not worry about losing my number, and know that im being treated right!!

Straight Talk is a joke.

Ordered 2 phones and 2 service cards. They arrived quickly. Activated both phones online. Here is where it goes downhill. My phone doesn't work. I called and talked to several people in Columbia, Guatemala and other places. I asked, its really those places. The people are all very hard to understand, sounds like you are calling India. After being disconnected several times and entering 17 codes into the phone it works. It only took 4+ hours of time. My wifes phone does not. They couldn't get hers working so they sent out a new SIM. 5 days later no SIM. I called again and they had no record of having to send out a SIM. Of course there is no record. Several hang-ups later her phone still doesn't work. They can't overnight a SIM or get the phone working so I just said screw it and cancelled the second phone with them and I am going to T-mobile or somewhere else right now. Straight Talk is a joke and it is way too frustrating to recommend to another living being.

Plus it is not unlimited. It slows down after a point they send you a message you are on 2 g and it is slow as dail up so they rip you off all the way around.

Don t buy any of their stuff .. hot spot too!!

My wifes Sim Card never showed and they transferred the monthly plan to my account. She then went with T-Mobile.

When my first month ended and the credit from my wifes account was supposed to kick in it didn't. I went to T-Mobile and the Straight Talk phones are on eBay.

Strraight Talk Lied and still havent sent my package!!!!!!!

Hi my name is David Gilbert, and i am sorry i have to bother you all with my problem. I recently switched over to straight talk from another company. I am a disabled veteran, and i am on a fixed income. I ordered a phone off of straight talk website and the first day i had it it froze. I was told it would take a couple days to get a new one which turned into 2 weeks. I couldnt wait two weeks so i just bought another phone which was from t mobile. I then ordered a t mobile compatible sim card from the straight talk website so i could use my new phone. I paid the overnight fee of $14.95 to get my sim card right away. I ordered it at 12:47 am on may 9 2012. My total was $32.02 with the sim card and the overnite shipping fee. My order number is 466**** and my email address is davidwayne1976@***.com. I still dont know where my package is. I called straight talk customer service for 2 days now and have gotten hung up on and told 10 different stories. I have never been treated so rude and disrespectful in my whole life. I honestly think i was treated bettter overseas. They also disrespected my fiance. I was also told that my payment was being reviewed when my card has already been charged and taken off my card. I dont believe i should be treated this way. Here it is 2 days later and my package is still at your warehouse and noone knows why. My phone number is 234 201 ****. Hope fully someone who cares about their company will give me a call ASAP. Thank you!!!!
