I chose to keep the phone after I got it because I needed a phone. Well let me tell you guys this....

I bought a cell phone from Straight Talk wireless and when I recieved my phone it did not work in my area as they said it would. So I called them to see if they could exchange the phone and they told me that they could trade it for a lower grade phone. So I told them I would return the phone and I would be refunded after 24 to 48 hours after they recieved the phone. I returned the phone and was told at first that they had not recieved the phone. So after being transfered about three different times, I finely talked to someone that was able to fine my return. Then I was told by this person that I would get my refund within 24 to 48 hour, so I went and bought another phone. Now I am beinging told that it would be 30 days. So now this company not only has the phone but they have my money. Everyday that I have talked to this company I have been given the run around and I have been lied to. All I want is my money.

Just had the same issue. I received a sim card and a month of airtime and it did not get reception in the middle of Little Rock or at my home.

Which on both Tmobile and Straight talk coverage maps shows coverage. I called and after 3 hours total had a lady tell me that the refund will be processed in 24-48 hours and I did not receive that refund. I talk to the "top" manager and he said that she misinformed me and they dont give refunds. This is not over.

I am going to keep calling and contact the FCC, BBB and whoever else that can stop this. I dont beleive that you should be able to sell something that does not work. Last time I checked, when something does not work you take it back and get a refund or exchange it. That is called honesty and good business.

Do Not Do not try these Bozos. They are ripping people off. Trac phone, Straight talk, and net10 are all the same bad company. Stay away.

Stick with a reputable company who I appreciate for putting me back on the plan I had. AT&T. They have a prepaid plan that was only $20 more per month and it works!! Everywhere!!!

And you get educated customer service people who don't read from a screen and understand they are in customer relations not only service.

These guys are part of Walmart and I have completely stopped doing business with them as well. Save your self from falling into a trap with a BAD COMPANY!!

I have a complaint filed with the BBB in florida...i suggest you do the same. No resolution has come about, but at least they are getting some of the irritation that I have dealt with for over a month.

A defective phone, defective customer service, defective company, defective business practices, defective management and defective customer satisfaction.

Don't waste your money with this switch and bait, lying, stealing, unethical company. I am also in contact with the FCC...I don't really expect my money to be returned and I have since changed providers, but I will continue to follow up on this while hoping that this will be a pain in their smartphone for a change!!!!!

I certainly hope that people will read this and take note of the terrible service straight talk and tracfone and all their customer service reps! I have had enough! plz do not use straight talk! I am sick of the reps arguing and not fixing my problem. just transfered from one rep to another! joke!!!!! Im so frustrated with straight talk abd i hope walmart will find an alternative service to service the consumer! I agree with most of these posts. I spent $180 on a Walmart Straight Talk phone that did not last 1 year.

Long story short. I sent my phone back, have not yet recieved another but my auto deduct for minutes is promptly charged. I was on the phone for approx 90 minutes (on my dime) with people whom I could not understand to rectify this and I was transferred 5 times, sent to other companies within this Straight Talk Help Desk, spoke to 2 managers, one which I was disconnected from. During this 90 minutes I was disconnected 3 times, to the point where I asked them not to transfer me.

I cannot begin to express my frustration. I am easy going. I recommended this affordable plan to friends with much regret.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS CO. IT IS NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS.

I paid for the insurance on my phone and they still snt me a used phone and a charger that doesnt work, called them up and they were rude discourteous and hung up on me.when i called back they used racial slurs and then turned off my service,So i keep calling back, finally get a manager, she is actually civil!for a second anyway. They turned off Mobile Web Access | Straight Talk Wireless review from Clermont, Florida

Had great service for about 3 months. Then my Mobile Web Access was turned off without warning. Called customer No Service and spoke to someone I could hardly understand. Sent me to a recording about too much data usage on an Unlimited Plan. What unlimited plan? Could notmspeakmto anyone who could tell me how to have my data plan reinstated. It's a real scam. I'm going to switch to T-Mobile. I just called them, great customer service guy was very helpful. SIM card was .99 cents, plan $30 a month for 100 minutes calling and unlimited data, throttled after 5 gigs.

Same ol situation -

I reset my factory settings and had tried to talk to tech support to get a walk through to reboot phone.... no such luck

just kept getting sent back to the violation of agreement recording.

Called up Track fone who owns S.T. who could not answer when, how or why my data was "reduce"... although I still can;t access any data - which the rep invalidated :(

buyer beware - waste of money !!

I Bought a second Samsung, Straight talk phone about mid to late summer of 2012. I called today (Sunday, June, 9th,2014 p.m.)to have my phone replaced by warranty. I had to talk to 5 different people and provided the same information over to each person. The connection keep falling out and breaking up. The first Rep said They would replace my phone with warranty. Then all of a sudden the 5th rep says they could not replace my phone, but I could buy a new phone. I asked for the exact date of my 2nd phone purchase. The 5th rep/Supervisor said he could not tell me the date because he did not have that information. I asked how can you tell me my phone is over a year since purchased, (I was told 2 years).not true. It's been less then a year. The supervised could and would not answer my question after I asked it several times. I told the supervisor That all the Internet complaints about Straight talk must be true and this company is dishonest and not reputable. I told the Supervisor that I would also make a complaint too. I am very, very disappointed and angry about how this case was handled by Straight Talk.
