Straight Talk Wireless in Bradenton, Florida - Change the name from straight talk to can't talk

december of 2012 6 straight talk phones were purchased for my family. my phone stopped working in march 2013, it wouldn't slide up to open the phone for service. i am insured but since my 1st call to straight talk, i have gotten nothing but the run around. i was hung up on, and one rep was so rude when i asked for a supervisor, he hung up on me. i spoke with 2 supervisors and one manager and was told to tell the same problem as before. i was asked the same question each time and still nothing is being done. the only reason i left my previous wireless was the phones were very nice with a lot of features i liked. but if i had known the service was so lousy, i never would have changed. three times, i was on hold or repeating myself for over 1 1/2 hrs. I've been given so many numbers to call until I'm just giving up. the name should change from straight talk to can't talk.my family and i are going back to our previous company

Straight Talk Wireless in Denver, Colorado - Pitiful incompetent service user Buyer Beware

Well, after 72 hours to hear back from Straight Talk about the inability to get voice mail, I am still waiting. The tech support KID couldn't grasp visual notification on voice mail. after getting a run around from Manager hotlinesomeotherbafoon came on in a whisper voice said she had to reboot her system TWICE while I was put on hold. she came back on line and whispered some nonsense about updating software? I asked her why that wasn't done automatically, she couldn't begin to explain or why they didn't honor their promise to fix the problem in 48 hours. I finally gave up. I will be canceling this grossly incompetent cell service tomorrow. I refused to wait another 30 minutes to get this resolved...yes 30 minutes on my cell, Buyer beware of Straight Talk- you get what you pay for!!!

I would warn everyone about using this company

I traveled to US from Australia and wanted to purchase a local sim card

We arrived at Austin and and i purchased a $60 unlimited sim card and plan for unlimited international phone and data from a straight talk vending machine, "unlimited" proved to be not the case and after 1 hour on the phone to straight talk, i was advised to purchase global card for an extra $10 which after many frustrating attempts to dial and use the data the card still did not work. I rang to request a refund and after a further 2 hrs they advised that i took it back to the point of purchase I could get a refund I asked how do you do this with a vending machine, and i have to say the girl at the end of the phone was dumb, dumb, dumb, as she could not understand it was brought from the machine she kept saying all the conditions are on the back of the package. how do you read this if it is in a machine i kept asking. After 2 frustrating hours on the phone being pushed from one person to another Staight Talk refused to give a refund A WARNING TO EVERONE, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

honestly switch to virgin mobile. 50 bucks for unlimited everything.

the phones are expensive but its worth it. ive bben on it for 1 year and any problem i have they answwer to it :)

Straight Talk Wireless in Dimondale, Michigan - Straight is horrible! Waste of money! Mean customer service!

I have had so many problems with straight talk it isn't even funny! After being on the phone with straight talk with hours on end for the past two days. They have done nothing for me! After being hung up on twice while on the phone with the horrible customer service of straight talk, I have had enough!!! I'm done with this company and I am telling everyone NOT to use straight talk. My phone just stopped working. It said I had no service. Which I did, because my fiancé has the same phone through straight talk. So I knew there was service where I was at. After they told me that my phone reset it self, one manger said it would work in a couple days because he was going to do some updates. Well it has been a couple days and it still hasn't been working! I called again and nothing. So the minutes I just put in it went to waste. I don't have money to just go buy a new phone! I have had to buy two phones from this *** company and they always break. My phone resetting it self is NOT my fault. Since I tried to get ahold of corporate, and nothing! I'm done. Telling everyone NOT to use straight talk. Thanks for nothing!

Straight Talk Wireless in Kingsport, Tennessee - Disgusted

I purchased a smart phone from walmart about a month and a half ago. Since I had the phone I have had *** service half the time I don't even get a signal. When I called they told me they couldn't exchange the phone because the phone had been previously activated and not under warranty, apparently it was a store return. I tried taking it back to walmart and they told me I had to contact the company. I contacted the company again and they said the phone will not work in my area because it runs off a carrier that doesn't have any towers close to my area and yet the same thing they basically told me I was stuck with this phone they couldn't exchange it. I have been with this company for five years and didnt deserve the treatment I got and being told I am stuck with a phone that doesn't work. This is rediculous.

Never have Internet when I need it. Every time you call to talk no one understands you. Then when you seem to think your getting some where they tell you that when you leave your zip code you have no service. Never heard that one before. I'm paying for the Internet...

Straight Talk Wireless in Leavenworth, Kansas - Mother of mad teen

I bought the Samsung Galaxy for my 14 year old daughter, which must use the unlimited plan with Straight Talk. The "unlimited" internet lasted all of 2 weeks! Her internet service was suspended, with no explanation why. We called customer service, which was not very helpful. We have emailed the "customer service" several times, with no reply from them! I read the terms and conditions to see if I could figure out the suspension, but none of the listed reasons for suspension applied to my daughter. She used her phone like any teenager would, checking Facebook, Youtube, Tumbler...she used free WiFi when available. I am disgusted and so is she!!

DON'T BUY any products from this company. They advertise unlimited data,its not. They advertise great customer service it isn't. The fine print of the service agreement states you give up all legal rights to sue or recover damages. Your only option is arbitration...

I ordered their service.... got the SIM.....

and have yet to be able to make a call. I LOVE this company! (.... no I don't) I have spent at least 5 hours on the phone with their "expert customer service reps" who have no *** clue what is going on.

"Perhaps your phone is not turned on sir." "Try turning it off then turning it on again, Sir" "Perhaps there is no cell service nearby, sir" "Could you take the phone outside and try there, sir?" Buzzzzzzzz.... line goes dead. Ahhh, yes. I will be a masochist and try again.

Same script. No deviation....... same sh*t..... and remember: NO REFUNDS!!

"If we can't make our service work on your phone after jacking you around for 5 hours...... tough *** One Star, baby.

Fifty bucks down the drain. Forget about these guys......

I bought a straight talk phone after being assured it would work where I live, which is out in the country. NOT!

I cancelled it after 2 months of *** service and went to AT&T with my son.

I would not recommend straight talk to anyone unless you live in a big city with lots of towers.

I have had a lot of problems with this company and every once in a while u will get someone who will actually help u ever since i moved and changed my number my cell signal has been very crapy i go any where else and i have the best signal in the world if it wasn't for the fact that it was a good deal everything unlimited for 45 i would have already switched companies :(

They advertise unlimited talk/text/data for $45 a month but their tos clearly contradicts their advertising. They are running a commercial for iPhone users to switch, in the commercial the person is dancing around as he is streaming music through the Pandora...

I'm going through the same thing. I had no explanation and still dumbfound because I have been using our wifi from home and they still suspended my service.

I have been with them going on 4 years and since they came out with the iphone this *** just started with high data usage.

I never had a problem with them before. :(
