I hate the fact tht i will b on the internet and i get the page not available, and i cant go anywhere else from that. The video streaming is horrible! My proclaim just got sent back because its being replaced but because of all these experiences /fomments im scaredill just get bs from them.

I completely understand what you're going through, I dealt with the same thing about a month ago. I choose to bring your own phone option, had all the information I supposedly needed before I even called straight talk, and still was never able to get my phone turned on!!!

Get they had no problem whatsoever taking over $70 out of my bank account when I first called! Every single time I called I was transferred to an Indian person with a very American name like Sarah or Michael, and they were always a manager or supervisor LOL LOL!! My youngest child has epilepsy, just as every else my cell phone is extremely important to me, needless to say I can't believing them, and up going seven days until I finally demanded a refund. Which in turn took "we are very sorry man, you are in the 1% category of the people that it does not usually work for, unfortunately we cannot refund your one time fee of 1499 for the Sim card activation it will take 24 to 40 hours to refund your money" WHAT!!!

How could they get away with charging almost $15 for some card activation that was never activated? Is my fault I guess for allowing them to string me along for seven days, continuing to say we need 24 hours to reprogram your phone please give us 24 more hours mam, my goodness it is not worth saving the $10 a month compared to using PagePlus or Verizon!!!

I was seriously tempting to try again today, but I'm glad that I am not and will never use straight talk. Apparently it only works if you go to Walmart, buy a straight talk phone, and Byetta minute card thing or whatever LOL right then and there because there's no point calling customer service whatsoever!!!!

I have used straight talk now for several years now. I have been very pleased with them until today. The first time i talked to the agent michelle she hung up on me. I called right back and it was her again. She was not helpful at all. First of all she reapted to me atleast 10 tomes to hold on while she gathered my acct information. Instead of puuting me on hold like a professional she just put it down. Her and someone else were laughing and playing around plus i could hear the tv in the background.she dropped the phone twice laughing about it instead of apologizing..it wouldnt have been so bad if she was helpful in the first place but she wasnt. Very unprofessional.

This has happened to me several times-being charged Twice when I authorize 1 Payment!!! They say it's a mistake-but WHY does it keep happening?? *I see THOUSANDS of complaints from consumers. Why don't we form a Civil Suit? DTPA? It stands for Deceptive Trade Practices Act...where when a company is being deceptive-they pay you 3 TIMES THE AMOUNT YOU SUE FOR??? Just a thought. called to activate phone. spend literally days on the phone and still not on. talked to supervisors and supervisors supervisors. still no phone. they keep telling me it will be on withoin the hour and if it isnt to call back. i call back and have to explain it all over and over again. customer service people do not understand english and you can not understand what they are saying. i have been trying for four days now to get this phone activated with little hope. first told i couldnt transfer old phone i said fine give me new number and they still cant turn on a phone.

I have used straight talk for many years. This morning I decided to re activate my phone....I was highly pissed to find another person has my account....complete with all my credit card info!! I right away contacted customer service....they repeatedly tell me to CALL them....I have no phone....I tell them this....4 times I am told to call them. After many attempts I did get my credit card I to off what was my account....customer service is doing nothing....my account welcomes me with Rodney Schultz Jr. He can have the damnable account. This is puss poor customer service...not to mention a huge breech in my privacy!!

With five days of service remaining I can't make calls. The customer service, if by some divine intervention we could reach them, is pathetic and they say the number is not covered by the $60 unlimited plan, but I would be able to call that particular number once I recharge again. They should be allowing the customers to make calls until the last service day. Their business practise is unethical. Whatever they advertise is a sham. They advertise saying that it's unlimited International calling, but in reality I can make calls to very few companies listed in the website/ list provided at the time of availing this facility.

december of 2012 6 straight talk phones were purchased for my family. my phone stopped working in march 2013, it wouldn't slide up to open the phone for service. i am insured but since my 1st call to straight talk, i have gotten nothing but the run around. i was hung up on, and one rep was so rude when i asked for a supervisor, he hung up on me. i spoke with 2 supervisors and one manager and was told to tell the same problem as before. i was asked the same question each time and still nothing is being done. the only reason i left my previous wireless was the phones were very nice with a lot of features i liked. but if i had known the service was so lousy, i never would have changed. three times, i was on hold or repeating myself for over 1 1/2 hrs. I've been given so many numbers to call until I'm just giving up. the name should change from straight talk to can't talk.my family and i are going back to our previous company
