I drive a truck for a living.I've had 3 different pre-paid phones.I've been with

straight talk for over 4 years.Only time I ever have a problem is when I was on the verizon network..AT&T is best for me..Never had a problem with the phone itself..Right now I have the SAMSUNG T528G..Love it..From Richmond Va & All over the U.S.A :)

My Straight Talk phone is set up on auto pay.BIG MISTAKE. TodayJuly 19,2012 my mobilephone showed zero days and zero minutes. JULY 02 2012 MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED for 30 days service. The first two straight talk associates wanted to charge my credit card for additional minutes.I had not used half of the minutes I purchase each month. my problem was finally solved after two hours and 5 associates. I work and do not have 2 extra hours to be bothered with their error.I lost my temper which I feel bad about. Sometimes modern technology is not worth the bother.Straight Talk is cheaper and that is the only reason we have it.MOST LIKELY i WILL SHOP AROUND FOR ANOTHER PLAN

Straight Talk Wireless review in Memphis, Tennessee: Still waiting for service from Straight Talk

Straight Talk still, after 5days, has not set up my cell service. I paid for one month service and a sim card. The card must be defective and the said they would send a replacement. I called today and the replacement still has not shipped. I am totally pissed. I have been without a phone since July 13 since my cell is my primary phone. Their customer service seems to be lacking. They give several different numbers to call but they all seem to go to the same helpdesk. And with all the complaints that I've read why are they still in business?

This is my second complaint. After returning two cell phones by mail that I ordered on their web site because neither worked and both batteries were sent dead and would not hold a charge. They were refurbished Nokia phones. I was mad and decided to use my daughter's old phone from Wal Mart. It took over an hour and the their customer service tried to argue with me that this was not a Straight Talk phone. I insisted she look and of course, it was one of their phones. They swithed my minutes to this phone and then I was told I had to get a new SIM card and this would take 7-10 days. meanwhile all the minutes I paid for are wasted because between the phones that would not work and waiting on the SIM card, I paid almost 2 weeks for no cellphone. This was one month ago. My daughter bought a new expensive Straight Talk phone several days ago and when she turned hers on, it shut my phone off. For an entire day, my number somehow was switched to her phone. She then had no service on her phone for several days and it talked repeated calls to fix her phone. I had to go to Walmart and buy another phone because I use it for work. Their customer service is HORRIBLE and so is their 411. It barely ever correctly registers the city and state you need. and it won't let you dail the other information number. They might as well get rid of the 411 because it rarely ever gives you the number you need. The only reason I have put up with all of this is because I can get what I need for $45 a month without a service plan.

My $100.00 Straight Talk phone broke in less than a year so I got on their Internet site to get new one. I decided to get a nicer refurbished Nokia and spoke twice to a live person because I was previously on auto refill and they could not sell me the new phone that came with a $45.00 minuted card until they cancelled my current autoreill that I already paid for the month. They were just going to make me pay it again to get the new phone until I suggested they cancel my auto refill. I ordered the phone and at the end of the transaction. I got a print out that said my order was not sucessfull. I waited a little while and tried to order again. this time it was successfull and I printed a copy. Sveral hours later I look at my email and I have two confirmation numbers. Despite the site telling me the first time the order nver went through, I was getting two phones. I called again and said no and explained what happened. they gave me some story that they couldn't do that and it would take two business cycles to refund and extra $100 to my account. This took several hours. Next day delivery took three days and neither phone worked and both batteries were dead. They said send them back and we'll send you a replacement phone. I sent both back. Several calls and days later, no phone more excuses. I cancelled my oreder.

I must agree with the negative comments about Straight Talk customer service. Though the English language skills of the reps I talked to was acceptable, their inability to handle complex problems becomes a real problem when they don't know enough to hand the problem off to someone who can. They are apparently told not to do this. This leads to a situation where you spend days trying to resolve an issue, often dealing with reps who want to repeat the exact same steps that were tried before. The company does not seem to have a customer service focus. They will do their best, but when push comes to shove, it's all on you. Contrast this with a company like Amazon, who has excellently trained representatives who are eager to find the solution to your problem, and empowered to do so. I was attempting to buy a phone at the Straight Talk website (the only place it was available) with a Wal-mart money card. After 4 days, I was finally informed that that card was not accepted by Straight Talk. This is odd, since Wal-mart is a partner, and the fact that using a Wal-mart money card is referenced on the very site that the phone is sold from. The solution to my problem is actually quite simple, and I am sure that a quick conversation with a person who - A,was a native speaker and B, who was empowered to actually solve the problem in order to maintain customer satisfaction, the issue could have been successfully resolved. All in all a disappointing process, certainly not up to present day acceptable customer service standards. D+

As a current S/T user I had need for a second phone--they offered a FREE phone for $30--received right away---tried to register the phone---after over 1 hour and numerous transfers they told me that my phone was defective and that I had to return for a refund---no they would not pay for the return postage ( their fault) why should I pay---advised them that I was going to upgrade my current phone to a Android and I was going to purchase from them---after this run around and treatment--I am going elsewhere Oh yes---even though I paid right away---they need 30 days to return my funds

I was thing of switching to ST. But after reading many of the

complaints, will never consider this company regardless of

their price. I am using H20, will stay with them. I highly

recommend them.

purchased this android the sales girl did not say that i only had 15 days to return for refund or dhange phones. and she seemed tocare less about my buying the phone or not .she started to activate it with out getting my old number.verizon disconnow nected me instantly but i did not get service untill the next day. now my phone phone drops calls hard to make calls from my home at times .im only 1 mile from where i bought the phone . wanted to trade it in on a phone from at&t service to a verizon signals as i beleive they have the best anywhere. but has been three weeks.too bad'' phone gets hot easy short battery life. asked about exchanging for another one. this girl was very nice,but said maby custermer service would. jag
