Totally agree with you. I bought three phones and all were duds.

I foortunately was able to exchange them. The last phine i bought was the samsung galaxy. It has worked fine for the first 6 months but now heats ralidly (I wonder why%/#!@=#.LoL). It also wont hold a charge and freezes up frequently.

I also have to turn the phophone off to get a decent charge. It is clear that while the convenience of going the prepaid route is a great deal the quality of the phones are clearly defective. With these stories being so prevalent and frequent it is obvious that Walmart has concocted a deal with these phone makers to purchase items that are marked irregular at best. I strongly believe Walmart should be investigated for this issue and should be made(you would think that this monopulous giant would do so voluntarily and try to look caring to its millions of customers who allow it to thrive, while they treat their own employees horribly * rant for another time) Its as if they know the odds of these poorly engineered phones have a short lived capacity.

Im in favor of a lawsuit against this ungrateful monopoly. "DON'T TREAD ON ME!"

Straight Talk has the worst customer service. I guess when you want to save money, you have to give up decent help too. I bought a $179.99 phone and have been trying to transfer my number over to it for over a month now. The customer service has just be very unhelpful....

Straight Talk Wireless in Fort Huachuca, Arizona - Dont buy a Straight Talk Phone Online

I purchased a Straight Talk phone from Walmart a few months ago and was pleased with everything except the keypad. Checked 2 Walmarts, they didnt sell what I needed so I went online and purchased a different phone (approx. Jan 25, 2012). Love it, worked beautifully about 48 hrs. All of a sudden, no service (Jan 31, 2012). Called them, long story short, wrong SIM Card. I was told a new SIM card would be Fed Ex'd. Called back (Feb 4, 2012) was promised new SIM Card by Feb 7, 2012. Guess what, today is Feb 9, 2012. I dont have a new SIM card, nor has it been shipped. As I'm writing this, I'm on the phone with the upteenth representative. In closing, AT&T ripped me off monthly but their service was flawless. I may be forced to go back. Pls keep this in mind before you go w/a Straight Talk phone/plan.

George as to your commet I DID BUY THROUGH WEB SITE I DID PUT IN ZIP CODE they sent me a phone FED EX that is on t-mobil network we dont have t-mobil in my area even the ones you get at the local walmart are on the verizon network so smart *** I did follow the order process to a T plain and simple they screw up and it take and act of got to get there outsourced untrained customer service to do anything I even have an email that says they sent wrong one out so you need to know what your talking about befor popping off about something you know nothing about

I would not even have an issue if my issue had been handled right but I have been on the phone with these idiots for over 3 hours and still have no service no phone that will work in my are and no refund so there

Straight Talk Wireless in Washington, District Of Columbia - Customer Service Sux!!!!You never get to speak to a live English speaking person!

I bought my daughter a new Straight-talk phone for Christmas & went on line to transfer her phone # From Boost Mobile to her new straight-talk phone. The information told me that it could take up to 24 hrs to process the request. After 24 hrs i called Straight-talk to find out why the & was put on hold for almost an hour before i hung up. I called back & was again put on hold for about 45 mins. When someone finally answered the phone, it wasn't an American speaking person & i could tell that he was reading from a prompt, he proceeded to tell me that i should call back in an hour or 2 when a customer service representative could assist me. I called back 5 different times that same evening & each & every time was put on hold for more than 30 minutes! The customer service really truly sux!!!!

All that I can say about tracfone is that it is the most irritating situation that I have had in a very long time. I bought a card for more minutes (120 - Walmart).

They said the airtime number (scratch off thing) was invalid. Took it back to Walmart. They did give my money back. So, I figured it was just one badly printed card.

Went to Walgreen. Bought another. Guess what ... same thing.

The manager at Walgreen actually spent 2.75 hours on the phone with them thinking that he would get satisfaction. He finally realized what I had been going through and not only gave my money back, but pulled all the tracfone cards off the shelf and referred it up the chain along with voice recordings of all the conversations. I actually think Walgreen will quit them after this experience. I was finally brought to their attention.

I will be interested to see how it turns out. My recommendation ...

run, don't walk away from anything associated with tracfone. I put the phone in the garbage!

I attempted to transfer my phone # from a Boost Moble to my new Straighttalk phone online & it did not work. After 24 hours with no phone service, i called Straighttalk & was put on hold for almost an hour that day & again 4 different times that same evening!The 1 time that i did get thru to someone (Not AMERICAN)i was told to call back in an hour or 2 so that a representative could assist me.This is my 5th phone call today & i have wasted more than 4 hours trying to get thru to these people!!!!THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUX!!!!!!!
