I bought my daughter a new Straight-talk phone for Christmas & went on line to transfer her phone # From Boost Mobile to her new straight-talk phone. The information told me that it could take up to 24 hrs to process the request. After 24 hrs i called Straight-talk to find out why the & was put on hold for almost an hour before i hung up. I called back & was again put on hold for about 45 mins. When someone finally answered the phone, it wasn't an American speaking person & i could tell that he was reading from a prompt, he proceeded to tell me that i should call back in an hour or 2 when a customer service representative could assist me. I called back 5 different times that same evening & each & every time was put on hold for more than 30 minutes! The customer service really truly sux!!!!

I attempted to transfer my phone # from a Boost Moble to my new Straighttalk phone online & it did not work. After 24 hours with no phone service, i called Straighttalk & was put on hold for almost an hour that day & again 4 different times that same evening!The 1 time that i did get thru to someone (Not AMERICAN)i was told to call back in an hour or 2 so that a representative could assist me.This is my 5th phone call today & i have wasted more than 4 hours trying to get thru to these people!!!!THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUX!!!!!!!

I purchased a 50$ phone (straight talk wireless) card for my 11 yr. Old son's prepaid phone and when I called to have it activated for him I sat through customer service ***. =/ it is saddening that cell phone providers hire inept customer service rep.s that cannot fufill their job requirements and solve technical support issues. I do not reccomend this service to anyone in the future as you will most certainly find out exactly what I am talking about. One dummy had the audacity to ask me to drive across town to return the card to the retailer from which i purchased it until i read to him what is clearly stated on every prepaid phone card 'non-refundable'... what unbelievable idiots =/ now they think a new sim card will fix things. After my child uses the month of service i have paid for im am going to dismember this phone with my vehicle and mail it back to them seeing as that is how much the phone and service is worth to me. Tracfone- learn to know your as-s from a hot rock and to provide reliable services to your customers!

Unlimited should mean exactly what it says "UNLIMITED". His phone was deactivated for overuse of data. It cannot be reactivated even with a new SIM card, so we are left with a two-month-old $250 phone that can be thrown in the trash. I read another review where the customer's internet usage was cut off, but he could still use the phone. Fine, when you reach the UNLIMITED amount, cut off the internet service for the rest of the month, but don't render the phone PERMANENTLY useless. That is ridiculous and I am PISSED. I would not recommend Straight Talk.

Took 36 minutes to pay for a new month. After the first month, the line across the top of the phone that tells how many days are left ceased working - it always says I have zero. Took almost two hours to find out no one knew how to fix that. Got phone beginning of September of 2011. 7 November I wake up to no screen. Can't get an email to the company. Refuse to call, because the outsourcers, while unfailingly polite, are scripted and can't do anything off script, nor can they get anyone who CAN help. Would love to be contacted with a resolution. The lady at WalMart was very nice, but their policy is 15 days to return the phone, and she didn't know how to reach the company except on the web site.

Straight Talk Wireless review in Salem, Oregon: Straight talks horrible...read this..
So I called straight talk about a week ago wanting to change my plan from there $45 unlimited plan to there $30 1000 minute plan. I'm set up on there auto refill system and have been a straight talk customer for about 8 months. Up until now I can say I used to be pretty happy with there service, all the way up until I actually have to deal with them. When I talked to the lady on the phone, she spoke horrible English... It was so hard to understand her. She asked me to repeat things multiple times and kept saying one more minute while my system is figuring it out at least 7 or 8 times. I proceeded to ask her again, I just want to make sure that the $30 plan will not start until the end of the 30 days of service I had already paid for this month. She said it wouldn't, that the $30 would come out on September 9. Well last night I checked my account...they charged me the same day I talked to them for another months worth of service even though I still 2 weeks left on my contract. Last night to get this all straightened out....I called the customer service center to talk to them about refunded my account for the $30 because like I said I called to change my service future plan not to be charged that day...I honestly don't even think they know what there doing or how to do there job. So last night was awful. I got disconnected 3 times, I was on the phone with 3 different reps. I asked multiple times to speak to a supervisor. I repeated this story over and over again with each rep too. Finally the last lady I talked to said she was going to transfer me to the refund department supervisor (even though at the beginning of the conversation she said there was no way of refunding me). I was on hold for an hour, nooooo one ever picked up. Today I called my bank and processed a claim against them. I am getting a refund through my bank and my bank will investigate straight talk. I did however have to re contact them today in order to stop the auto refill from coming out of my account. Once again I got disconnected twice. So I had to wait on hold about 30 minutes. I finally talk to someone, got them to process "the cancellation of my auto refill". At the end of the conversation I asked her...where are you guys located out of? She said the Philippine's. So for all of the complaints I read that said they don't speak good English and you cant understand them(including mine)....that's why. And the last question I asked was how late is your refund department open? she said 11:45 central....so remember how I said I was on hold for an hour to speak to a supervisor in the refund department...THEY TRASFERRED ME THERE after hours...that's why no one picked up. How incredibly rude, and a huge waste of m time... By far there the most awful company I have ever had to deal with. Don't start service with them. You will regret it.
