wow, bad troubles, i know how bad their service is but i think if you try hard enough ( call at night to talk to english speaking cust reps they are nice and helpful) you should get your service up and running, For e71 the reason they wouldnt activate is since your area wouldnt have internet coverage. Happened to me so i lied about the area of service i was planing to use phone in.

Say baltimore MD, they will activate your phone. Sometimes lying and being smart helps instead of telling plain truth.

Straight Talk Wireless in Indianapolis, Indiana - Straight Talk Phones Blow !!!!

I am a new straight talk customer and i regret my choice in this plan. It has been 3 days and i still do not have a signal or a phone number. I keep calling the customer service center and am constantly told by someone who speaks very little english that i should turn my phone off then back on every hour. After a day and a half of this i was told to wait another 24hrs to allow the phone to find a tower in my area.And guess what the results are.??? You guessed it.! No working phone.!! Now i am being told to hand upload a code given by the service rep. who now says i have to wait another 24hrs. I am cutting my loses and going back to T-mobile.

Sorry to hear your story, and i know how painful it is to deal with straighttalk customer service. But next time keep in mind, prepaid is very useful to hide your real info that can be misused by such companies, I never gave them my real name or credit card no.

( use virtual credit card from bank of america or giftcards) so there is no way they can track back to you in such cases, never give them advantage over you since they are truely unreliable when it comes to refund.

Why bother giving them same info for all the phones you buy? Just for future, keep them in dark like they do to you.

I GOT A SOLICITATION EMAIL TO SIGN UP FOR ONE YEAR SERVICE FOR $499. I LOGGED INTO MY STRAIGHT TALK ACCOUNT AND COULD NOT FIND OUT HOW TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. I CALLED THE SERVICE NUMBER TO LEARN THAT THE ONE YEAR PLAN ACTUALLY HAS SERVICE CHARGES TACKED ON TO MAKE IT $548.73 FOR ONE YEAR OF SERVICE. I DECIDED TO KEEP MY PHONE WITH AUTOREFILL ONE MONTH AT A TIME. THIS TYPE OF LYING CAUSES ME TO BE ANGRY. THIS IS NOT STRAIGHT TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Straight Talk Wireless in Naples, Florida - Horrible service This service works great for a few days

When you do have problems they give you someone who has a problem with the english language and an attitude to boot. This is absolutely the worse service available and I'll tell anybody that will listen to me not to use it . One big problem and if you have loved ones on the road please don't get them this service as there is no reliability factor envolved with this company.My phone number 239 298 2612 give it a try' sometimes it works most times /like when you really need it, it don't. I have family arriving today and a heavy schedule this lousy phone is of no help to me at all. The only thing worse than the phone is the customer service. Do yourself a favor and buy a can and string before you buy this service you sure can't do any worse.

Straight Talk Wireless in Troy, Alabama - Pay-as-you-go plan worthless

My straight talk phone was deactivted the instant my phone card ran out. I was told by a barely understandable woman in India that I would have to reactivate my phone to restore service and that I could not keep my old phone number. That number is embededed in several places so my students can call me. This is absolutely the worst phone service ever. Figures it would be featured item for Wal Mart. Do not buy one of these phones. The phone is a very good LG, the service is absolutely lousy. Another gotcha is the minimum purchase of a phone card or credit card. This is supposed to be a no contract phone, but it really costs you around $40 each month (or they will deactivate your phone). There are no rollover minutes and unless you use the phone 24/7 you are going to loose a chunk of money each month!

I have a Straight Talk Phone, and I have to GO OUTSIDE to make a call or send a text message. 90% of the time neither will work inside my house.

I called their customer service once; and the guy had me punch some codes into my phone.

It still does the same things. Anyone else have this problem?

I saw the same add, straight talk offer free ringtones but when you go to the song list it's nothing free about it. Straightalk cell phones are in the past, they use to be pretty nice phones now that everyone has one there a piece of scrap they say you can return it if not working correctly, but the truth is none work correctly and you loose your min. trying to get it straight, they should be called straightdown in trash

This is not a no service contract company. this is a NO SERVICE company.

Phone broke less than a year. Two weeks still no replacement phone don't know when if ever be replaced because they refuse to tell you. If you would enjoy being without your phone for extended amount of time then this is the no service for you! And....

You lose all your info because guess what they can't transfer it again NO SERVICE. wal mart sells the phones and the service but totally washes their hand of any responsibility to their coustomers.
