Terrible time getting ahold of someone

I can reach anyone when you call the numbers they give. My bill went up $3.00. I was never contacted or told anything. Try to call and ask... good luck with that!!

Dont ever have to return a higher price phone to them under warranty

I have been waiting for over a month to get my warranty repair phone back from this company. First they tried to tell me they never got it so I had to track it via FedEx and provide the details of when they got it. Then they acknowledged they had it and said that they would send me an email in 3 to 5 business days about the return of the phone and gave me a ticket number and I waited two weeks and no email or phone in the mail so I called again and went through the process of getting escalated to corporate and a lady who claimed to be the top dog said she escalated it to the very top of the pile and I'd recieve top priority for getting my phone back to me when they got back after the holiday as it was new years eve but gave me an escalated ticket number and stated the 3 to 5 business days but she said it would be faster because she escalated it because it was already so long that I have been unable to use my phone. I then waited another two weeks with no email and no phone again. So I call them back and get to corporate again which is no easy task mind you each time I have been on the phone for hours with these fine bunch of people who can barely speak English which is fine but makes it a very difficult process to get what you need across to these people who want to read the script to you over and over but I speak with another rep michael who promised me that my phone would be back to me in ....you guessed it 3 to 5 business days and he promised that I would have it in my posession and I would just have to give them a call to get my free month of service that was lost when I sent my phone back to them I had just started a new month of airtime. So I wait some more and finally called back last night and we are at January 15 2020 and I finally lose it on this rep and really lose my cool and he rudely says that my phone will be sent to me as soon as its available. I said what you mean it's supposed have been sent to me some time ago he says no warehouse has no phone to give you that is why dont have it yet....so my question is why didnt anyone from this company convey this to me the customer ever in any of the many conversations that I had with them? Then I asked him if I could please just have a refund for my phone and the warranty as I need a phone for my every day life and I can just go purchase a new one for the amount that is due to me is pretty substantial because the phone was 300 and the warranty was 55 plus the month of service that I was robbed of 50 dollars plus tax and all right around 500 give or take but either way I can get a new one for that I am sure. He then proceeds to tell me that he can't do anything about that because I bought it at walmart well then I should have been able to return it at Walmart then but was told no in the beginning of this crap show that I have to return it to straight talk to get a warranty repair and there is several of these phones at my local walmart store for sale but the warehouse has none wtf ? I want my money back for the phone and service and warranty and any and every penny that I gave to this horrible deceptive lying bunch of thieves who call themselves straight talk and I will go with a company who has some customer service skills beyond saying that they are sorry for the inconvenience. It was an inconvenience at two weeks at a month and a half its rediculous and they never asked if they could do anything to help me with not having a phone and actually when I couldn't provide a tracking number for the original return even though I had two ticket numbers with my phone on it available got rude because I didnt have access to my email account because I dont have a phone. Hung up on me when he was supposed to be transferred to the department who could verify the tickets. Bunch of crap for spending money on a more expensive phone for once in my life and I get this crap service and a crap phone from crap people but my advice for anyone who considers this company is pick anyone else but straight talk because they don't give a crap about you or your phone because they blame walmart and walmart blames them and they both suck at customer satisfaction period! Watch Out

Bought my straight talk phone almost 4 years ago NOW they are telling me I have to get new phone and this one usually works fine.Now they are messing with my service because I have not gotn new phone.Its Jan,2020 and they told me I needed new phone by Dec,2020.I cannot make phone calls and am getting wicked pissed off.

Why waste your time or money...

I've been a ST customer for YEARS!!! at one point I was paying for my phone 4 kids AND my best friends service...THAT'S A CHUNK OF CHANGE!!! I've been through *** with this company...they messed up... CATASTROPHICALLY when my phone was stolen and I needed to change phones....they assured me I'd keep my number (I was traveling and NEEDED to keep I touch with family AND my attorney) needless to say they failed miserably... My attorney couldn't contact me...my bank froze my accounts...THEN every month when I paid for service...my NUMBER CHANGED...after months and months of this... I FINALLY corrected THEIR screw ups...and I've kept the same number...i know there must be a skull and cross bones on my file...we've had other issues as well...last year I was without a phone for 35 days while they sent me several different SIM cards... I finally asked then who their service provider was... I guarantee it want straight talk... My current issue is WHAT THE *** IS WRONG WITH THE DATA??? HONESTLY... I KEEP GETTING THROTTLED DOWN!!! WHAT A CROCK!!! I PAY FOR THE $55 UNLIMITED PLAN!!! THE ONLY THING UNLIMITED IS MY PATIENCE....APPARENTLY!!! SERIOUSLY... CORRECT THE DAMN ISSUE!!! ALL WE ASK IS FOR WHAT IS OFFERED!!! I will pull all 4 of my accounts...and promise to begin a campaign boycotting Straight Talk... I'll hire picketers of need be....(however....i doubt I'd have a problem recruiting unpaid disgruntled customers...) We will start at the three local Wal-Mart's...and move on to the neighboring communities...until we make 5 o'clock news!!!

Don't buy

You are lucky to get 25 to 28 good service days/ month, but pay for 30. Customer serv. Is in Philippines and connection is terrible and they don't care. They will not reimburse for days of lost serv. File complaint with FCC and state attorney general or they will continue to rip people off. This co. Stinks!! Just service stinks!!

Sorry is now a meaningless word and is used as a substitute for a remedy that doesn't cost the co. anything.

Flush that word down the toilet and do what is right if you have any integrity whatsoever , which I don't believe you do. You don't know the meaning of the word and don't want to know and don't even believe it is necessary to know!

You love taking advantage of people and laugh up your sleve. Look that up!

Would not deal with them if i didnt have to was terrible

went with the unlimited gigs on phone and 10 gigs hotspot for 55 dollars. thought it was a wonderful deal. Had at&t on my phone so I put in the att sim card. Get home get on phone to set it up and come to find out you cant get the hotspot with at&t !!!! I was pissed! went back to Walmart and they didn't know anything ! So come to find out I had to use T-Mobile or Verizon so I went with T-Mobile I am on a mountain and I have good service if I stay in my house! and the phone calls are terrible I get this clicking and it hurts my ears ! So I called straighttalk back and they said " purchase sim card for Verizon and you can use there towers" could hardly understand these people at all it is so bad! so I purchase Verizon sim card and called them today and they told me that my phone is not compatible with Verizon UGH! I have an open phone but I needed to purchase a Verizon phone or a straightalk phone to get the Verizon sim to work!! I am so tried of dealing with them ! I am going back to AT&T they have a plan for 40$ a month with 50 gigs on phone and 15 gigs of hotspot! So upset with straight talk !!! BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!
