Why waste your time or money...

I've been a ST customer for YEARS!!! at one point I was paying for my phone 4 kids AND my best friends service...THAT'S A CHUNK OF CHANGE!!! I've been through *** with this company...they messed up... CATASTROPHICALLY when my phone was stolen and I needed to change phones....they assured me I'd keep my number (I was traveling and NEEDED to keep I touch with family AND my attorney) needless to say they failed miserably... My attorney couldn't contact me...my bank froze my accounts...THEN every month when I paid for service...my NUMBER CHANGED...after months and months of this... I FINALLY corrected THEIR screw ups...and I've kept the same number...i know there must be a skull and cross bones on my file...we've had other issues as well...last year I was without a phone for 35 days while they sent me several different SIM cards... I finally asked then who their service provider was... I guarantee it want straight talk... My current issue is WHAT THE *** IS WRONG WITH THE DATA??? HONESTLY... I KEEP GETTING THROTTLED DOWN!!! WHAT A CROCK!!! I PAY FOR THE $55 UNLIMITED PLAN!!! THE ONLY THING UNLIMITED IS MY PATIENCE....APPARENTLY!!! SERIOUSLY... CORRECT THE DAMN ISSUE!!! ALL WE ASK IS FOR WHAT IS OFFERED!!! I will pull all 4 of my accounts...and promise to begin a campaign boycotting Straight Talk... I'll hire picketers of need be....(however....i doubt I'd have a problem recruiting unpaid disgruntled customers...) We will start at the three local Wal-Mart's...and move on to the neighboring communities...until we make 5 o'clock news!!!

Don't buy

You are lucky to get 25 to 28 good service days/ month, but pay for 30. Customer serv. Is in Philippines and connection is terrible and they don't care. They will not reimburse for days of lost serv. File complaint with FCC and state attorney general or they will continue to rip people off. This co. Stinks!! Just service stinks!!

Sorry is now a meaningless word and is used as a substitute for a remedy that doesn't cost the co. anything.

Flush that word down the toilet and do what is right if you have any integrity whatsoever , which I don't believe you do. You don't know the meaning of the word and don't want to know and don't even believe it is necessary to know!

You love taking advantage of people and laugh up your sleve. Look that up!

Would not deal with them if i didnt have to was terrible

went with the unlimited gigs on phone and 10 gigs hotspot for 55 dollars. thought it was a wonderful deal. Had at&t on my phone so I put in the att sim card. Get home get on phone to set it up and come to find out you cant get the hotspot with at&t !!!! I was pissed! went back to Walmart and they didn't know anything ! So come to find out I had to use T-Mobile or Verizon so I went with T-Mobile I am on a mountain and I have good service if I stay in my house! and the phone calls are terrible I get this clicking and it hurts my ears ! So I called straighttalk back and they said " purchase sim card for Verizon and you can use there towers" could hardly understand these people at all it is so bad! so I purchase Verizon sim card and called them today and they told me that my phone is not compatible with Verizon UGH! I have an open phone but I needed to purchase a Verizon phone or a straightalk phone to get the Verizon sim to work!! I am so tried of dealing with them ! I am going back to AT&T they have a plan for 40$ a month with 50 gigs on phone and 15 gigs of hotspot! So upset with straight talk !!! BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!

Resolved: Never ever use them!

Finally after many calls they found that AT&T had not real eased my port. This should have been resolved the first time I called.

But one it was removed my port went thru. After talking to MANY hours and agents at straight talk it was finally found and fixed. The straight talk agents need to be better trained to problem solve instead of reading out of a manual. They also do not read the documented info.

Thankful Ebony at Verizon took the lead and powered thru and fixed it.

And the ONE agent at straight talk who noticed the problem too. Took 10 days but it ported successfully.

I have been trying to get my account straight with them for over a week now. After trying to port my phone over from AT&T to save money it has turned into the biggest fiasco ever. 31/2 days of literally constant phone calls to them, got me 3g with no text, data. I could only call out. Thats it. So I went to Apple and bought a new home and trying to switch to Verizon. Im on day 7 with no phone. No one seems to ever have answers to the problems. Its like they read from a script and cannot answer anything themselves. The have to talk to a mysterious tech who most of the time has no answers either. If my phone is not transferred by Monday Im contacting a lawyer. This is my business phone line. Im losing customers every min my phone doesn't work. Im beyond frustrated at this point. Verizon has submitted over 40 port requests.DON'T USE THEM!!

Be aware

Also for those with the ultimate unlimited, be aware that the 10 gig hotspot only applies to those with Verizon or t-mobile. They cut my data off for using hotspot after a rep informed me that I could use it. Which isnt fair, as it shows that you spend like others but dont get the same benefits.

I had to contact them again. After being hung up on again a couple of times, finally my numbers were transferred. Not easy to get transferred to the correct department.

Will not port my phone number to another company. They hang up on me every time I am supposedly being transferred to porting. I have had the same phone number for over 30 years transferred 3 times with different services and never had this issue. Been trying for over three weeks. Last week I spent over 2 hours at the xfinity location having them help me and over three hours on the phone today

Hotspot not working

Data works on phone. I put the $55 ultimate unlimited card on here Sunday. Hotspot worked Monday and then hasn't worked since. Will let device connect but not use internet. Have reset phone and device multiple times plus everything else could think of to get to work.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought phone and it worked for 3 months and then quit. I sent it in to be repaired. They sent a used replacement. I wanted to have unlock so I could change carriers. They said since I have not had service on phone for 1 year they could not unlock it. I said I had service with straight talk for years and they had sold me a phone that had to keep being replaced. I feel they should have least given my money back for the phone.

I have had service for years. I had to replace my broken phone.

The new phone broke after 3 months, had to replace that phone. They sent a used phone though the one I sent them was new.

I decided to cancel service with straight talk. They would not unlock phone or refund money for phone.

Do not use Straight Talk

I have been having trouble with Straight Talk for many months. My data speed was non-existent. None of the 20 reps and sups I spoke with were able to help me. I complained to the BBB, that didn't help. Straight Talk sent me a SIM card they blamed my iPhone 11, everything but excepting responsibility for the issue. I ended up moving to another wireless company and Straight Talk REFUSED to give me a refund. I even spoke with corporate. Horrible company
