Got a phone from a friend and they had straight talk too. Bought a $55 plan unlimited data talk n text put in on didn't have data called them and they said i needed a new Sims card. I order on called back and there tech messed the new card up and there wanting me to buy another one and I just got that one. And they wouldn't replace it even after they said it was there fault there tech support messed it up. Bull *****.

Would not deal with them if i didnt have to was terrible

went with the unlimited gigs on phone and 10 gigs hotspot for 55 dollars. thought it was a wonderful deal. Had at&t on my phone so I put in the att sim card. Get home get on phone to set it up and come to find out you cant get the hotspot with at&t !!!! I was pissed! went back to Walmart and they didn't know anything ! So come to find out I had to use T-Mobile or Verizon so I went with T-Mobile I am on a mountain and I have good service if I stay in my house! and the phone calls are terrible I get this clicking and it hurts my ears ! So I called straighttalk back and they said " purchase sim card for Verizon and you can use there towers" could hardly understand these people at all it is so bad! so I purchase Verizon sim card and called them today and they told me that my phone is not compatible with Verizon UGH! I have an open phone but I needed to purchase a Verizon phone or a straightalk phone to get the Verizon sim to work!! I am so tried of dealing with them ! I am going back to AT&T they have a plan for 40$ a month with 50 gigs on phone and 15 gigs of hotspot! So upset with straight talk !!! BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!

Be aware

Also for those with the ultimate unlimited, be aware that the 10 gig hotspot only applies to those with Verizon or t-mobile. They cut my data off for using hotspot after a rep informed me that I could use it. Which isnt fair, as it shows that you spend like others but dont get the same benefits.

Don’t take advertising from straight talk as being straightforward

I purchased the ultimate unlimited plan just for the purpose of being able to use the hotspot on my iPhone 8 Plus. When I went to use my hotspot I found out I had to order a new sim which would take me from at&t to T-mobile. The only reason I’m able to get service in my home area is because I am on at&t. If I were to switch to T-Mobile sim I would no longer have service at home. The fact that a switch to T-Mobile should be made clear when the ultimate unlimited plan uses the hotspot as a way to up sell this plan to the public. I was able to do the necessary research and knew I should but Many people might not understand the need.

I had been with straight talk for five years, up until my last experience with them! THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Half the time I cant even understand what they are saying, because they barely speak English well enough ! Not being rude or racist, just pointing out the low quality level of their so called customer service I HAVE NOW BEEN CHARGED TWICE FOR A SERVICE I NO LONGER HAVE , WANT OR USE ! I HAVE CONTACTED THE BBB , THEY ARE CROOKS AND GET THIS THEY PROMOTE AND ADVERTISE HAVING hotspot yet when you pay for it and So called unlimited data theyre not even set up for a hotspot, although youre being charged for it!

Do not Buy Straight talk phones

The phone company seems to continue to have problems with all accessing the account. Due to they erased the phone # on my Account. They could not even find this phone. Motorola, Could not help me because straight talk buys the phones and repair them through their factory. Then after two months going through all these problems. Save yourselves and go to Verizon. Straight talk lost my phone $180.00 earned hard and lost easy i will be switching over to prepay Verizon. But, not without telling Verizon how bad their sister company *** me over 5X's.....! with in about 10 yrs. Fyi I am posting to Your Facebook Account

Don't switch to straight talk

on the 11th. of this month. I. tried to charge my credit card. $55 for the $55 plan. but they said the card was declined.my points were redeemed on my rewards points. so I figured that it went through. well it didn't so. my phone got deactivated and. for 2 days I didn't have no phone and finally I got to a phone so I could call Straight Talk. and I thought someone took my account. but to find out all it was was my card was declined and. and somebody activated my phone number on a different. SIM card so I ended up having to switch it back. still figured I had the $55 plan. until today they told me to go ahead and look at my data. so I called back trying to get my $55 plan from a $35 plan which I never had to start with I actually had a $45 plan and switched it to the $55 plan like I said on the 11th. but they said since my payment didn't go through they can't help me. well I told you I offered to pay the $20 extra and they didn't want to do that they said no. they can take this and shove it for all I care.
