so i bought a $45 card and i entered the pin through the 'my straighttalk' app and got a confirmation that it went through. the confirmation message said that my new service end date is sometime in october and i was thanked.
then i got a text informing me that my service ends tomorrow. so i called customer service and they told me they have no indication that any refill card had been applied.
they said there was nothing they could do for me but i could buy another refill card if i wanted to. now that is some straightbullshit.

Pros....and cons
My boyfriend has had straight talk for 2 years and this has never happened to us. I just switched from Verizon to straight talk last week.
We do all the activating and card renewals ourselves. The old saying "If you want something done right just do it yourself" does apply here. I have heard and experienced their customer service. I left Verizon wanting to save money, knowing I would give the "good service" up.
It is really very simple to do on your own. The also have an "App" you can put on the phone to simplify it your monthly renewal.
If you are planning to switch to straight talk, get the phone insurance they offer....do everything yourself. You for sure are not paying to get good service.

My phone keep switching back to 1G.
My straight talk service keep switching back to 1G mood which keeps me from getting on the internet when I really need to. When I call customer service, it takes me for ever to get someone on the line.
When I finally get someone, I can't understand what they are saying because of the language issues. I am an American that only speak English, so therefore, I would need someone who speaks clearly and concise when giving me directions to correct my phone issues. I get so upset when I start getting the attitudes from someone who don't understand me, so therefore I no they probably feel the same way. However, I am the customer and I would like to just speak to someone who I could understand.
I am not trying to be mean or anything about or to any foreigners, but I just don't understand them over the phone.
- I could go almost anywhere in the us and use my phone
- Service plan
- And the way i pay my bill
- Rudeness of customer service
- Language issues with customer service

Voicemail not working.
Problem was resolved by Customer Service Rep rather quickly. I guess it depends on which Rep answers the call.
I was connected to a very friendly and helpful Hispanic Rep. The other Reps could benefit from his training.

My Voicemail isn't working properly. The message that is played in the place of my Voicemail is a message which people think my phone is disconnected The payments are drafted from my checking account every month for the last two years. Straight talk is the worst telephone service I have ever had.
I didn't get the problem resolved. I had to hang up on the rude Customer Rep who triggered my anger. I'm switching back to my previous provider, Cricket Wireless. Straight Talk sucks!
