ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! They will NOT stand behind their service. They require you to buy a $45 service plan, and then when their data Bring-Your-Own-Phone service won't transfer over, they keep telling you (for 4 MONTHS FOR ME) they'll credit you "at the end of your service plan," BUT THEN SAY, "It's against our policy to refund Data Service." If you're stuck for the month with NO DATA, as I was, make sure you: 1. write down the dates you contact them; 2. Write down their "Straighttalk Reference" or "Straighttalk Interaction Number;" 3. Ask EACH AND EVERY REP their full name & number and WRITE IT DOWN; 4. Repeat numerous times, "You are specifically notating my file to say, 'Credit is promised to this customer for ALL the time this customer has not had DATA SERVICE." As soon as they tell you, "We don't give our customers any Data Credit, even if it's our fault our BYOP SIM cards don't work," IMMEDIATELY request your money back and SWITCH to another carrier! It only gets worse. You'll keep paying month after month for DATA SERVICE you'll never receive, although they'll keep saying, "Our BYOP service always works with any phone, which is why WE GIVE NO CREDIT FOR DATA SERVICE YOU SAY ISNT WORKING." ...even though it doesn't work.. iPhone 5c, on T-Mobile network. I gave the iPhone back to my son, he is still using it problem free with T-Mobil. I bought a new iPhone 5s, which they told me to do ("Ma'am, we can't fix this phone even with T-Mobile's help so you need to buy a new phone"). It STILL didn't work. I told THEM, "I'm changing the SIM to AT&T." I've had no trouble since. Fools; I fixed my own problem with the new iPhone, at least. Bottom line: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Go to your local GAMESTOP and see what they have.

Straight Talk Wireless in Alabama - Sh**ty Tech Support

I activated a Straight talk T Mobile Sim Card in my LG G3 Vigor that I have used many times before. On 1/25/2016 at 8:16 P.M I called and done a transfer of my number from AT&T to a T Mobile and they told me when my old phone stops working to cut my new phone off and back on and it would work and that my old phone would not stop working till my new phone would be activated. So my phone stopped working about 20 minutes after I got off the phone with straight talk and it is now 1/27/2016 7:44 P.M and both phones still don't work. So i call and stay on the phone with straight talk for over 2 1/2 hours trying to figure out what wrong telling me to troubleshoot *** a retard knows how to do and I had already done over a thousands times. Just to tell me they don't know whats wrong and to give it 24 more hours to see if it will work. I am in a business that has to have a phone 24/7/365 days a year. Also what do I do if i had a family emergency, a wreck, or anything for that matter. Then I said I have been a day without a phone and have to go another 24 hours without a phone and she said "that's not my problem." The lady was supposably the tech manager and her name was Latoye. I have had so many TERRIBLE experiences with straight talk and I'm sick and tired of it. So I'm about to call back and if they don't get my phone working I'm going to do everything I can to let everybody know possible about my HORRIBLE AND RUDE experience with costumer service and tech support. They are so cheap because they have *** costumer and tech support that does not care absolutely at all there costumers. You pay for 30 days, but *** I'm only actually getting 28 days now and if something was to happen emergency wise or work wise I don't have a *** phone and it seems everytime I change phones I have this problem. Everywhere else like Verizon, AT&T, Metro PC, Boost, etc. they swap your phone right then and it's activate. Straight Talk, 90% of the time take 24 to 48 hours to do the transfer.

Straight Talk Wireless in Abilene, Texas - My calls are intermittently being forwarded to some stranger

I have had tech support and the WalMart crew checking and they cannot find the cause. I use this phone for business and cannot afford for my clients to reach some stranger when they need to contact me. I have had my number for over 12 years, by business and webs are tied to it - so changing numbers IS NOT an option. I have been told it is a carrier issue and getting a new phone or sim card won't help. I will report to PUC, and if that does not help, I will have no alternative but to file a LARGE LAWSUIT for breach in my security.

By now I hope you have resolved your issue, however, because it's so important to have a reliable number and it's likely a carrier issue I'd recommend buying another phone that uses a different carrier. ST actually buys service from T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T and different phones are associated with different carriers.

I'd recommend buying a new phone if only just to transfer service to a new carrier for a day and then transfer it back to the old phone. Sometimes doing things like that can clear up problems like what you are experiencing. Then return the phone you just purchased for a refund or maybe keep the new phone and return the old one if it's still returnable.

It's not a great solution I know, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. When I transferred my service from a ST phone that used Verizon to one that used T-Mobile the transfer only took a few minutes, but your mileage may vary.
