I have been a straight talk customer for years with little issue until the last year. Sketchy service. Calls get dropped even in town. Paying $60+ a month for nothing. User's recommendation: Find another company.

Not impressed

I have had straight talk for years and had little issue. Recently I can't get anything to load and my phone never has service even though it says it does.

Unlock phone

MY DAUGHTER PASSED AWAY IN A CAR ACCIDENT I HAVE HAD ALOT OF EXPENCES AND HAD TO GET A GOVERNMENT PHONE DUE TO LOSING JOB.ETC. I ASKED STRAIGHT TALK IF THEY WOJLD UNLOCK THERE NETWORK ON MY PHONE AND GHEY SAID WOULD COST 126 DOLLARS TO UNLOCK IT AND I DONT HAVE THE 126 DOLLARS SO NOW I HAVE NO PHONE RAISING 2 GRANDCHILDREN.WITH L WAY FOR JOBS TO CALL MR OR ANYTHING

Our branded phones are not carrier unlocked. It can only be activated in our service. However, we can unlock your phone only if you meet the set requirements. Straight Talk Wireless will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions: 1.

Device must have not been reported as stolen, lost, or associated with fraudulent activity. 2. Device may have already been unlocked or device may have a pending unlock request (customer should call for resolution). 3.

Device must have been activated on our service for no fewer than 12 months. 4. Device must have redeemed no fewer than 12 months of service. 5.

Device must have active service or be within 60 days after service expired. However, we now offer our customers the option to unlock the phone for a fee if they have not met the 12 months of service requirements. The fee will be $150 minus $12 for every paid active month per device (cards on reserve are not calculated as paid active). To process your unlocking request, chat with us at http://bit.ly/2CuBvXO or call 1-877-430-2355.

Need phone unlocked to use another carrier

She said I had to pay for service for 12 months before I can unlock phone and sim. When I have had straight talk for many years this phone for close to 3 years. I have paid 60$ plus since before 2o13. It said free to unlock on websites I should be able to transfer my number and phone to qlink government phone. I have more the paid for service to earn point u took from me hundreds of dollars for phones and services I have been loyal customer and I would get it again but right now I can't so I need to get this government phone so I have a phone back when I can afford it again and treat me like *** and tell me I have to pay for 12 month before u unlock my stuff. I am homeless

The phone sound does not work

4 months after buying the phone, the sound stopped working, the company said it would send another phone within 48 hours, 30 days went by they did not send anything.

Multiple help failures

1) I tried to change numbers. My number was cut but no new number was provided. 2) I tried to chat, since I couldn't call, and I was told the chatters were too busy to chat!

Poor customer service.

I am a long time customer and up till now all was good! Today I was dealing with a concern and I was lied too by a rep and then hung up on by two supervisors. Consider other plans before dealing with Straight Talk Wireless! Disappointed.
