Phone Service Great- Customer service sluggish | Straight Talk Wireless review from Newburgh, New York

I ordered a phone on line, didn't ship when promised. I canceled order, now 60 days later still trying to get credit back. The actual service is great, the customer service is very sluggish. After several emails and a couple of phone calls, will try to write a letter to the exec. resolution dept. I will have to see if this helps. The process is very cumbersome and they are not easy to talk with. Order fulfillment overseas, actual ship point was Indiana. This makes them tough to work with, days go bye and you cant connect the dots with them.

I DO NOT recommend ANYONE to get straight talk. I have had them for the longest time & I understand I use my internet a lot so it would run out, but even though it ran out I could still use the Internet, including sending & receiving picture messaging but it would slow down. I contacted straight talk to let them know my picture messaging stopped working & the lady told me she was the manager refused to give me her name or employee number & told me I could only send pics to anyone else using an iPhone (like myself) & I told her it confuses me how even though I ran out of Internet I could always send pics but now I can't. She was extremely rude !! I will be switching plans. Whoever is thinking about switching to straight talk DON'T DO IT !!

I havent had a straight talk phone in 4 months due to them cutting mine off every two weeks and charges me another $45 n now they are still taking the money out of my account and wont redund me my money. They where so rudw when i called them about it and told me they will continue to take it out every month cause i had a contract. Prepaid phones dont have contracts.

Straight talk is the worst phone service i have ever had especially in the last year. poor connection, terrible customer service. I called straight talk and ask a representative about using the T Mobil phone i had. A representative i talked to assure me that there was not problem using a t-moble phone. They lied. I spent over 15 hours on the phone trying to get the T-moble phone to work. During the 4 days of talking with many different representatives it was one lie after another. I was put on hold for over 1 hour 1/2 on one call, hung up on 5 times. used a friend of mine phone for over 1 hour 45 minutes just to be told that they had to wait up to 72 hours to get the trouble fixed. IO spoked to several managers and again they just kept passing the buck. One manager would say it would not be a problem yet they could never fix the problem. I talked several people that said they were managers yet they could not resolve the problem. Finally i had to take the phone card and the sim card back to Wal Mart and then had to fight with them in order to get the money back. Finally after talking to several people i finally was able to get my money back. Finally i found out that straight talk is owned by Wal Mart. So if you want poor service, rude customer service then straight talk is your choice.
