They will cheat you out of your money | Straight Talk Wireless review from South Highpoint, Florida

We recently added minutes to an old phone and the only thing they ask for was not the phone number not the serial number. When we finally reached a person, we were told sorry but you just lost your money. A manager finally told us that the problem was going to be solved in 24-48 hours. We called back in 48 hours and was told that it would be another 24 hours. Today when I called they acted like I no one had told me any of this informtion. They are thieves and liars. I would not advise anyone to use them.

I have had my phone w/ straight talk for 2yrs. Their so-called "discount" for auto refill is ***! They try to blame ur bank or that u didn't update ur info w/ them. Then u have to pay more to b re-enrolled in auto refill. They tried to tell me that I lived in a state I've NEVER lived in & that it was taxes that was making the pmt go up almost $4. Then to b blatantly lied to that I was going to b charged the previous amount per month when i was really charged the almost $4 more. I have spent HOURS on the phone trying to correct this. I was told when I demanded to speak to a mgr that the mgr would tell me the same... that it was my fault the auto refill didn't work. Their customer service sux!! WARN EVERYONE U know to NOT use straight talk!!!

eI got my phone stolen a 5 days after i bought an $45 dollar unlimited card. straighttalk transfered my minutes on another phone for me and was suppose 2 turn the stolen phone off and they didnt. instead they let the person who stole my phone keep stealing my minutes. i have filed a complaint before and someone called me and was suppose to try to get me a month of minutes, but she was suppose to call me back, but my phones out of minutes. can u have her call me at 276-345-7920 please. They wouldnt refund my money.

Straight talk is the worst phone service I have ever had. they never can solve any of my issues I'm having with my hone. none of this staff speaks good English.. The workers are rude. I hate i switches to rip off straight talk.. Will be leaving straight talk very soon.. I would advise anyone not to use the phone carrier straight talk they just want your money and don't care how your service is.. I see why Verizon is chosen over straight talk.. The worst decision of my life was switching to straight talk.. Verizon im coming home.. Can't beat Verizon they are very loyal to their customers.. Im super passed tf off..

Had Straight Talk with AT&T for 2 weeks. NO Service and disconnected 2 times in one week, plus Customer Service is the worst ever- they hang up on you and you end up on hold an hour with someone that can barely speak English. They decided on their own I need new sim cards- they were working fine- but service was indeed spotty. The day I went back to Verizon, Straight Talk refused to port my number! They decided on their own to disconnect my number- then why were they sending me a new SIM card???? Worst service out there. STAY AWAY. Also they lie- they only have access to 25% of large carrier towers, so service is very spotty.

Changed number during upgrade of phone | Straight Talk Wireless review from Tallahassee, Florida

Tried to upgrade my phone. well they took my sons number put it on my phone put my number on his phone. Whem tried to fix they deleted his nimber from the active list and put my number back on my phone then gave him a completely new number. When we tried to get his original number back they took 10 days of my time and changed his number again. We have given up trying to get his original number back. Sorry son you have a new number. but they did give us 30 days of service. VERY PISSED

They put my husband's number on my phone and gave my number away. I was able to access my voicemail by dialing my number and using my passcode, but periodically I the woman with my number would answer the phone. I've spoken with her!

I made endless calls for weeks before it was straightened out. I fought so hard because 1) I was still accessing my own voicemail so I knew it was still my number and 2) I had that number for 12 years. I wasn't about to let it go easily.

That happened last year about this time with the BYOP. We switched to other companies but the plans didn't work with us. (The kids stayed with it for the data. They love it.) Now we're back with Straight Talk phones and everything is fine.

Customer service is more than frustrating though if/when you need to call them.

Scary what companies have access to regarding personal info | Straight Talk Wireless review from Tampa, Florida

I recently bout a straight talk cellphone and phone card. I had no issues with the company until I noticed a random charge on my credit card. Come to find out it was an insurance plan for my phone that I never authorized. Funny I've never even given the company my card number. I only bought the phone card through walmart. Obviously I was extremely upset and felt violated. I spent 3 hours calling the company and every number they gave me to find "correct" the issue.After getting the run around I gave up. Nobody would help me or answer as to how the got my card number. I buy with cash now.
