Bad Reception, Very Poor Customer Service | Straight Talk Wireless review from Brandon, Florida

We have tried Straight Talk. Our experience is frequently bad call reception. More importantly, customer service is terrible, with calls to resolve problems taking an hour or more talking to someone who does not speak English well enough and being put 'on hold' for up to 30 minutes, and as often as 2 to 5 times per call for help. Everybody should know the $30 cards dont work whit a smartphone. The front of the box with the phone in it tells you that.

I cant stand when people buy something and dont read but then complain. Unbelievable.

Plus you work at walmart, you should know. I am pretty sure you scanned straight talk phones quite often.

Exactly what EVERYONE else said. Straight Talk SUCKS! They take your money cut of your service and send you to a foreign land to figure out why you gave them your hard earned money in the first place. The owner of that *** company should be put in prison...that would be justice for many it seems. Worst mobile company do not even contemplate signing up or believing anyone at Wal-Mart who tries to talk you into it..they no not what they are talking about..Straight Talk is a full blown scam as far as im coconcerned. You will purchase devices and you can not transfer them...you are stuck and will have to repurchase new devices.guaranteed.

Ripped off lied to | Straight Talk Wireless review from Silver Springs, Florida

Straight Talk is by far the worst mobile company out there. Employees are severely ill trained and unknowledgable...the call centers are all overseas and the average person can not understand these heavy accented individuals. Straight Talk will cut off your internet capabilities even with VERY low data usage. They call centers all state no downloads..streaming etc...every time you click on site you are virtually downloading..try explaining that to "Straight Talk Phillipines"..Bottom line they are liars and will take your money. They will start cutting off your internet service..wait 6 months and see. Those people should be put in jail for being theifs and liars. Cant even receive text messages..and i am out 500.00 have a useless S2 now that no onewants because straight talk and trac fone suck! Had to switch to T mobile and dish out more money for new devices because straight talk phones ate compatabile with few carrier. Walmart, straight talks promoters should reimburse consumers...good luck with that.

I spent over $100.00 for an Android phone and was told when and if I ever needed to change/down grade my phone plan I would be able to. WRONG!!!! Liars liars. I am unable to do as I was promised and now have a phone I can't use. Is there any phone service that keeps their word? I didn't just pick up up off a shelf and purchase it, I spoke with a company representative. As a matter of fact, we spoke at great length. So nice to your face and laughing at me all the way to the bank with my CASH!

they only have one plan for smart phones for 45/mo. you can buy multiple months though. you can downgrade to their 30/mo plan but you need a nonsmartphone which they give free on their website.

I had the 45.00 unlimited talk/text automatically taken out on a credit card. No problems with service for over two years. Six months ago I changed the billing to a different credit card, because I closed down this old card account, every month they bill the new card...

Straigh Talk Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!! | Straight Talk Wireless review from Tampa, Florida

I spent ton of times and talking to numerous rep. to sign up the service on 6/21/13. It got turn on and i started using it. I noticed cell signal was yo yo back and forth between low to high and low and high and so on at the same location at my home in a fixed spot not moving. Having that the internet connection is yo yo back and forth between 1x and 3g too and it was *** slow. If that was not enough i got a blocking from Verizon yesterday when i am not even using Verizon service??????? Today i call in spent all morning 6/24 mount up my frustration further just to have them to tell me someone reported the phone was stolen so they diconnected the service. I call in with those other issues not the disconnect issue. The service was paid for in full and was usable days ago already. If that was not enough I called 17 times today dealing with bunch of *** some hung up some the connection was disconnected on its own while i was waiting for an answer. I had it before i have a heart attack. I called my credit card company to file for a refund dispute with this sob S.Talk service. Save your time, save your sanity, save your energy since i have just experience to find out for you. STAY AWAY FROM STRAIGHT TALK

They turned off Mobile Web Access | Straight Talk Wireless review from Clermont, Florida

Had great service for about 3 months. Then my Mobile Web Access was turned off without warning. Called customer No Service and spoke to someone I could hardly understand. Sent me to a recording about too much data usage on an Unlimited Plan. What unlimited plan? Could notmspeakmto anyone who could tell me how to have my data plan reinstated. It's a real scam. I'm going to switch to T-Mobile. I just called them, great customer service guy was very helpful. SIM card was .99 cents, plan $30 a month for 100 minutes calling and unlimited data, throttled after 5 gigs.

Same ol situation -

I reset my factory settings and had tried to talk to tech support to get a walk through to reboot phone.... no such luck

just kept getting sent back to the violation of agreement recording.

Called up Track fone who owns S.T. who could not answer when, how or why my data was "reduce"... although I still can;t access any data - which the rep invalidated :(

buyer beware - waste of money !!

december of 2012 6 straight talk phones were purchased for my family. my phone stopped working in march 2013, it wouldn't slide up to open the phone for service. i am insured but since my 1st call to straight talk, i have gotten nothing but the run around. i was hung up on, and one rep was so rude when i asked for a supervisor, he hung up on me. i spoke with 2 supervisors and one manager and was told to tell the same problem as before. i was asked the same question each time and still nothing is being done. the only reason i left my previous wireless was the phones were very nice with a lot of features i liked. but if i had known the service was so lousy, i never would have changed. three times, i was on hold or repeating myself for over 1 1/2 hrs. I've been given so many numbers to call until I'm just giving up. the name should change from straight talk to can't talk.my family and i are going back to our previous company
