My phone needed a reset OMG IT TOOK 24 HOURS AND SIX TECH PEOPLE THAT NOBODY COULD UNDERSTAND ASK THEM TO TALK LOUDER BUT TO NO END IN SITE THE PHONE AND PLAN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LAKE. SEE YA. SERVICES ARE DOWN RITE AWFUL AND NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK FOR UNLAW CLAIMS OF UNLIMITED DATA YA RITE BETER FOR PONY EXPRESS AND A TALKING HORSE!!!

Like others, I tried to switch to ST to save money. I wanted the Bring Your Own Phone option to port my existing AT&T number with my IPhone. Tried to do it online myself--it didn't work. The system assigned me a new number. Next, I called CS. That number was deleted, they even sent me a new SIM to start over. Called CS so they could do it. They did the same thing--did not port my original number. I was transferred, put on hold too long. I decided lower monthly bill not worth the trouble. Call centers are a pain!

Straight Talk Wireless in Chicago, Illinois - Horrible customer service

I have had numerous problems with straight talk customer service. First is the frustration of their automated voice menu which has you dial the number they themselves provide for home service. After jumping through hoops to get to what you think is the correct service, you will be told they have to transfer you to the correct department. By now you have entered or spoken your phone number about 5 times. Now you get a terrible connection with someone on the other side of the planet who you cannot understand. Don't be surprised if you get hung up on as I have, even though I was courteous. If tbey can't resolve an issue you will be transferred over and over and the process starts again. Horrible! Internatiol calling for 2 months and it does not work. They have you follow a procedure to rectify the problem only to wind at square one. Exasperating! I tried to enroll in auto pay with my credit card and was told I had to call back againAt a later date. What?

Straight Talk Wireless in Chicago, Illinois - Straight Talk FALSE BOGUS company

I have 2 lines with ST. During last 3 months I have problems with internet on both my phones. Data connection speed reduced to 0.01-0.008mbps download (0.15-0.2mbps up, 200-150ms ping) and when i call to customer service, they gave me several explanations. 1st reason is because I reach the limit of 1,5Gb and need to wait new service cycle. Next CS rep told me that the speed was reduced due to violation of paragraphs 6 and 7 of Terms and Conditions of Service. And my wife's phone was limited as well, due the violation of paragraphs 6 and 7. My wife don't use the internet in the phone too much, no more than for 1 or 2 videos on Youtube per months, and it is definitely violation of p.6 and 7. As well we are not able to send MMS or picture messages from our phones. BTW, there's no customer service, to ask, why I have a 1.5Gb data limits in everything unlimited plan. I called to CS several times with a question, what is my violation exactly, but they transferred me to answering machine with recorded message about agreement violations. Basically straight talk won't let me use internet because I violated section 6 and 7 under the terms and conditions just within the last 3 months. I've been with Straight Talk almost 2 years and haven't done anything different within the last 3 months. Both my phones are prepaid until May 2013 so I will get out from this BS pretty soon. They are so cheap...I can't believe, how dishonest are those crooks. I'm so sorry that I moved out from Boost Mobile and lost my $35 shrinkage plan. And now it will take another 18 months to restore it back. I wish you, straight talk crooks, and your methods of enrichment, to go bankrupt as soon as possible!!

They are con artist and the CS dont understand English, so thats what we get for using a phone co from a 3rd world country.

Straight Talk Wireless in Chicago, Illinois - Straight Talk is NOTHING but BS

I bought a phone for $150 and the $45 card for it. Well I started playing with the phone, and found out It had a hotspot on it, so I used it for the internet for my iPad. Not even a week after I bought the phone, the internet on the phone was turned off. I called to ask them why it was turned off, and was told that the unlimited internet included in the $45 plan was for GPS only that I don't ever use. They tell you it is unlimited, but will turn your Internet off if they feel you are using it to much.

I have had problems for months. The first problem was they stole 617minutes from me and still had 14 days on my plan. i would call and after alot of screaming i got my minutes...
