Bad customer service, replacement phones are lies | Straight Talk Wireless review from Red Springs, North Carolina

I bought a new phone form walmart and and it broke a month after. I took it back to walmart and they said it was pass 15 days so to call straight talk. I called straight talk and told them and they said they were sending me a shipping info via email. Still have yet to get the email. Called the corporate office and the guy I talked to said he would compensate me a month and 10 days for the inconvience. I said well do it now and I will buy another phone and he said he couldnt do it until he received the broken phone back. I tried to purchase a phone off of their website and and you can not purchase a phone without buying another service plan. I still dont have my phone and they still havent shipped the info to send the phone back to them. And they dont even pay for the shipping , I have to pay for it. This is a load of bull and I am tried of waiting on them. Their call center is in the Phillipines and you can not understand a word they say.

They say unlimited talk,text,data..but that's a lie. Got a call from them saying that my data use was to high. How could that be if its unlimited...what a joke. Called them about it and customer rep was rude. They are very untruthful ....looks like false advertisement to me..they SUCK....a pissed off xcustomer.....1.5 gb what I'm I going to do with that...they need to tell you this mess up front. Just talk &text for 45.00 a month but they rather throttle your data..false advertisement..false advertisement.. False advertisment .. When a company doesn't do what they claim that's a lie......

My data was shut off and after talking to customer no service was advised that because of my service plan (which is a whole other story) that my data would be restored at my next renewal date and get this December 22, 2013. I asked for a supervisor and was given the double speak and never allowed to speak to a supervisor. I called back again I started out by asking to speak to a supervisor, they read from a script and when I asked to answer if she was going to let me speak to a supervisor she read the script again. Again I asked to speak to a supervisor again she read the script, I advised her that this was a yes or no question that I needed her to answer either yes or no again she read me the script. Then she transferred me to the "high data usage department", which is a transfer to an automated message telling you that you use too much data. then it shuts off................. and every call back to them is the same just over and over again. Oh yes and if you are rude to there customer service reps they reserve the right to cancel your service... I asked them to cancel my service and refund me my money but got no response they just read the script again.

I had to suffer with a defective phone for about 3 months. Then when they decided to replace it the issues got even worse. When I got my new phone instead of putting the service on my new phone they put it on the defective phone after I provided them with the new serial number for my new phone. I had to calls days in a row. Then when I asked for a supervisor I was told that my refill card was not scanned properly. So there I go taking it back to the store got a new card and guess what still no service. They still had it going to my old defective phone. They kept giving me excuses that the sprint towers were down and to wait for them to come back up. I was sitting in a room with 5 people with straight talk and the towers seemed to be working fine for them. They were all trying to call my phone that was not activated. I called back and asked them if they had the correct serial number they didnt of course. I adivsed them that they had the service going to the wrong phone. They had the nerve to ask me what was the serial number of my defective phone. How in the world was I suppose to know that if they have the phone. I had sent it back to them. After giving them the correct serial number they then advised me that I could not keep my same phone number. I had to get a new one for my phone to work. So this phone company could not transfer my phone number from one straight talk phone to another one. Bad bussiness in my book. I had tried to port a number from another cell phone company and they couldnt do that either. When I asked why all the rep kept saying was I am not able to transfer you phone number. What grade level is required to work with this company. They seem to babble on and start using words in their own language. Bad bad customer services. If there is ever a protest I will be in the midst.

Never have Internet when I need it. Every time you call to talk no one understands you. Then when you seem to think your getting some where they tell you that when you leave your zip code you have no service. Never heard that one before. I'm paying for the Internet...

I paid 7 days in advance , $50.35 ,and put it in reserve, which my end date was the 9th. This month my phone was disconnected on the 2nd! So I did not get my full month service from 9/9 -10/9. Customer service told me because I paid my 'reserve' on the 2nd, I had to pay again to get reactivated??????!!!!!! I paid in advance/reserve so I would have no interruption in service if I forgot!! These people are CRAZY! Their customer service argued over and over that I was not entitled to service thru thru October 9th because I paid the reserve amount on September 2nd!

I have e-mailed and called Straight Talk many times, wasting hours on end talking and holding. My old Nokia E71 phone worked good with signal but not anything else. I moved up to the Samsung Proclaim and don't have any service. All they have done is told me to send my phone back in and they will try replacing it with another phone. The problem is, they don't have a phone like the Proclaim. I'm guessing they will try to give me an old phone that has been referbished instead of finding something better. Any suggestions?

first thing i ordered online they lost my order ive been waiting 3 days for conformation but with no tracking number and no response this money came off my ss card no phone no money they say they will call me in 3 hours what do u think? i will never purchase anything on line again paul barton
