i switched over to new phone and been with ST for going on 5 years now. i do auto payment and for 3 months they charged me $30, which is what i orginally had prior to switching. they ended up charging me the $45. said because my phone was not combatable for the $30. kinda fun it was for those 3 months. so they can hook you up on the $30 the plan for smart phones. they just don't want to. smart phones are the wave of the future but it is going to cost us because of the high demand of need.

Nightmare customer service experiences with Straight Talk Wireless.

Adding my voice to the rest of these complaints. I have only had Straight Talk since the first week of July and I'm so fed up and angry that I'm now shopping for something else. My nephew is on the plan with me, he's tech savvy and even he cannot figure out what these people are thinking and doing. We have a plan with 4 GBs of data. We've never been able to use one single byte. However when I called to complain about this, I was informed that we actually have gone over our usage each month..Huh???? Neither one of us have ever been able to access the internet, send pictures or done anything that uses data...Ever..I cannot send pictures, I cannot check my e.mail, we have minimum bars of antenna at all times, no matter where we are in the world. The first time I had to call to set up the phones I realized I had fallen into the Indian Twilight Zone..It took an hour and a half to set up two phones. I should have been able to do this without customer service but of course that did not work, again with tech savvy nephew being the one to do it. The second time I called it was because I couldn't send pictures..7 people and 2 hours later and I still can't send pictures or go online. Third time I was forced to call I ended up in tears, literally sitting at my kitchen table crying in frustration. They apparently had turned my nephew's phone off for no reason. This time I was hung up on twice.This meant I had to navigate the nightmarish, hellish, God forsaken piece of *** automated system to get to talk to a completely different person and explain my problem all over again and give them my personal information no less than 5-6 times per phone call..This time 3 hours later it was discovered that "a billing error" had caused them to not process my direct debit payment(this is the direct debit payment that it took me 45 minutes to set up.) I then had to re-do the entire process again. I no longer care, I just pray every day that the phone keeps working until I can buy a new one and find a new company..They won, I can't fight them anymore..Run do not walk if your even considering this nightmare company..
