my phone keeps losing service everywhere!for like 3-8 mins at a time,i tried to call 3 different days and says tech problems plesae call back,emial them and they say call are customer service,said didnt u read my email,i told u i tried.this is my only phone.also,internet hardly works...$50 a month for service I barely get...its worse with texts.had problems b4 too,n never once did they offer a disount...Revol always did,seriously thinking bout going back to them(or boost)and taking my niece off the service also...I have had this phone for almost 2 yrs,first 3 months were AWFUL,took 3 days to get it working right,then was fine,then issues 7 months later,fine now last 2 weeks!

I placed several orders for over $1000 for friends & family as gifts from Straight talk phones. I recieved an email from a man named Andrew Wells from Straight talk loss prevention (ironic) stating he needed me to verify that i placed the orders. The following day i called him & stated that i did place the orders & to stop the hold on them & i've already been billed for them.

The oreders went through after the conversation & the phones were delivered. They hard posted on my bank account & were deducted from my account but 3 orders of the exact same amounts still were in my pending section of my online bank statemen. I called Mr Wells & told him i was being double billed for the orders & he said i wasn't & they would drop off my statement.

Well a few days later they didn't "fall off" they hard posted also billing me an additional $1045. I immediately emailed & called Mr Wells telling him what his actions has caused but he never replied. NOTHING! I know from experience that you only have 60 days after a transaction hard post to contest it so i went to my bank & myself & my bank officer called straight talk customer service (loosely used term) spent 2 hours on the phone to find out i needed to wait one month for the funds to be added back to my account.

Well the month has came & gone but no refund no email nothing! I have 30 days to contest this so my bank officer (bless her heart) made out several reports to contest the deduction.

NOw its just a waiting game to see if they try to falsify orders or fudge numbers or some shady things like that i expect. MY only advantage is every order has to have a signature confirmation so lets see if they forge my name on a time stamped fed-ex delivery statement. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUISINESS & SUED FOR EVERY PENNY THEY HAVE.

The saddest part is that poor uneducated people are the ones using straight talk phones the most & just keeep getting hammered by unscrupulous companies like STRAIGHT TALK! (EVEN THAT NAME IS AN OXYMORON) NOTHING STRAIGHT ABOUT THEIR TALK ONLY LIES & FALSIFICATIONS! TOTAL FRAUD! STAY AWAY!

i had to send in my phone because it stopped working so they sent me a box to send it back in..My damaged phone was mailed out on thursday April 25,2013 and they recieved it back on Monday April 29th..I have still not received my replacement phone which is a samsung galaxy..it has been four days since they received mine..when i call to get a tracking number they say they dont have one and will have it n up to five days..you can barely understand them on the phone..very disappointed and dont think it should take this long and believe i should have a tracking number my number is 7247183978..

Horrible service and cheating company | Straight Talk Wireless review from Toledo, Ohio

I am very very upset with straight talk connection, straight talk has a $45 per month plan , if you add another $15 to it you can get unlimited International call. I pay $60 plus tax per month for calls within Us and international calls , first few months the calls were very low quality , i complained every month but with no results , they kept apologizing. Now I cannot make international calls at all for last 3 weeks even when I paid for it. I asked for a refund because I cannot make calls at all. However, the person in customer care refused to pay back any amount even though I could not use their services at all. and not only that they have not been able to fix the problem yet. I have never encountered such horrible phone connection in my entire life. I am switching from Straight talk starting next month. And be advised not to use their services.

This is my second complaint. After returning two cell phones by mail that I ordered on their web site because neither worked and both batteries were sent dead and would not hold a charge. They were refurbished Nokia phones. I was mad and decided to use my daughter's old phone from Wal Mart. It took over an hour and the their customer service tried to argue with me that this was not a Straight Talk phone. I insisted she look and of course, it was one of their phones. They swithed my minutes to this phone and then I was told I had to get a new SIM card and this would take 7-10 days. meanwhile all the minutes I paid for are wasted because between the phones that would not work and waiting on the SIM card, I paid almost 2 weeks for no cellphone. This was one month ago. My daughter bought a new expensive Straight Talk phone several days ago and when she turned hers on, it shut my phone off. For an entire day, my number somehow was switched to her phone. She then had no service on her phone for several days and it talked repeated calls to fix her phone. I had to go to Walmart and buy another phone because I use it for work. Their customer service is HORRIBLE and so is their 411. It barely ever correctly registers the city and state you need. and it won't let you dail the other information number. They might as well get rid of the 411 because it rarely ever gives you the number you need. The only reason I have put up with all of this is because I can get what I need for $45 a month without a service plan.

My $100.00 Straight Talk phone broke in less than a year so I got on their Internet site to get new one. I decided to get a nicer refurbished Nokia and spoke twice to a live person because I was previously on auto refill and they could not sell me the new phone that came with a $45.00 minuted card until they cancelled my current autoreill that I already paid for the month. They were just going to make me pay it again to get the new phone until I suggested they cancel my auto refill. I ordered the phone and at the end of the transaction. I got a print out that said my order was not sucessfull. I waited a little while and tried to order again. this time it was successfull and I printed a copy. Sveral hours later I look at my email and I have two confirmation numbers. Despite the site telling me the first time the order nver went through, I was getting two phones. I called again and said no and explained what happened. they gave me some story that they couldn't do that and it would take two business cycles to refund and extra $100 to my account. This took several hours. Next day delivery took three days and neither phone worked and both batteries were dead. They said send them back and we'll send you a replacement phone. I sent both back. Several calls and days later, no phone more excuses. I cancelled my oreder.

I purchased a 50$ phone (straight talk wireless) card for my 11 yr. Old son's prepaid phone and when I called to have it activated for him I sat through customer service ***. =/ it is saddening that cell phone providers hire inept customer service rep.s that cannot fufill their job requirements and solve technical support issues. I do not reccomend this service to anyone in the future as you will most certainly find out exactly what I am talking about. One dummy had the audacity to ask me to drive across town to return the card to the retailer from which i purchased it until i read to him what is clearly stated on every prepaid phone card 'non-refundable'... what unbelievable idiots =/ now they think a new sim card will fix things. After my child uses the month of service i have paid for im am going to dismember this phone with my vehicle and mail it back to them seeing as that is how much the phone and service is worth to me. Tracfone- learn to know your as-s from a hot rock and to provide reliable services to your customers!

so sad, good credit is a tool by the banking industry to encourage people to borrow money they don't actually need. It is how they make hundreds of billions in profits.

I know a number of people with "good credit" who use prepaid for the simplicity of it.

It also keeps less than disciplined people from overspending on unnecessary additional charges. Your criticism of people being intelligently frugal shows your ignorance and demonstrates that you are just another sucker for the banks.
