Resolved: I was sold a service card that does not work.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered.

I bought a service card. The numbers on the card do not work. I have contacted Straight Talk, then was told to bring it back to Wal Mart. I was told at Wal Mart where I bought it, they cannot scan the card to fix the issue because they claim their machines won't let them return the card as per Straight Talk's policy for no returns. This card is issue is their fault or the fault or Straight Talk. Then Wal mart told me to call their customer service who directed me to Straight Talk. I was told to send in my information to the a name @tracfone email. It has been over 48 hours and have had no reply. The issue has not been corrected.

User's recommendation: DO NOT buy Straight Talk cards or use the service at all if you can help it.

I called them to switch my phone number

Customer service from straight talk decided to take my unlimited I talk and text away because I got a new phone so I called to have to have them switch my number to my new phone so to make me have to buy a new plan they decided to take away what days I had remaining on my plan that is unbelievable I should just switch my service how can they do this SHAME ON YOU STRAIGHT TALK

Billing

I started Straight Talk with a bill payment on the 26th of the month. Now it comes out on the 8th. When I ask what their billing cycle is I'm told 30-31 days. They don't know basic math nor when explained that 365 divided by 12 is 30.42. I should not be losing days. Even adding the leap year it doesn't go below 30. If they are doing this to everyone it's plan theif!

Incompetent

They just don't care. They keep you on hold, transferring you all over, and hang up on you. None of them must enter anything in a database, because you get asked the same questions every time. I hate Straight Talk. I'm gonna have a huge party when they go out of business.

Dropped calls

Yes I had dropped calls halve of my monthly plain now my plans is up for this month.I feel like this phone company should rt there wrong For failures on your part with my dropped calls.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. Our branded phones are not carrier unlocked. It can only be activated in our service. However, we can unlock your phone only if you meet the set requirements.

Straight Talk Wireless will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions: 1. Device must have not been reported as stolen, lost, or associated with fraudulent activity. 2. Device may have already been unlocked or device may have a pending unlock request (customer should call for resolution).

3. Device must have been activated on Straight Talk Wireless service for no fewer than 12 months. 4. Device must have redeemed no fewer than 12 months of service.

5. Device must have active service or be within 60 days after service expired. However, beginning February 03, 2021, we now offer our customers the option to unlock the phone for a fee if they have not met the 12 months of service requirements. The fee will be $150 minus $12 for every paid active month per device (cards on reserve are not calculated as paid active).

The phone sound does not work

4 months after buying the phone, the sound stopped working, the company said it would send another phone within 48 hours, 30 days went by they did not send anything.

Multiple help failures

1) I tried to change numbers. My number was cut but no new number was provided. 2) I tried to chat, since I couldn't call, and I was told the chatters were too busy to chat!

Unsatisfactory customer service

Contacted customer service after purchasing a new bring your own SIM card customer service representative took it upon herself to not only deactivate the new purchased card but also to disable my existing SIM card from my old Straight Talk phone their resolution to this problem what's for me to go and buy another bring your own SIM card at a cost of $55 each so it needs to say I am an unsatisfied customer because not only did they take away my phone service but cost me income waiting to get my phone turn back on back on
