Transferring number issue

My grandpa has had the same number for almost 12years now and is currently with your prepaid service. As of Jan 4 his service was turned off due to the phone being too old and on 2G network. The problem we have to transfer his number is that the guy who set it up for him has passed away along with the account pin and info for security questions. He would like to keep the number but everytime he speaks with someone they tell him they can't help without an account pin. He is willing to have it transferred to a straight talk sim card and provide new security questions and a new account pin so he can keep using the number and your service. The phone it is currently stuck on is an LG MEID 268435****0733**** with the phone number ( 616)499****. He was told that after 30days his number will be recycled, if this is true can't it just be recycled back to him and we can set up the account again this time with all his info? He's just looking to keep the number he's had for 12 years now and not have to change it. Thank you for your time. Leslie

Straight Talk Wireless - Bought LG premier pro
I bought that phone not even 3 months ago and it has a nonremovable battery witches ruined does not work phone has stay on charger start leaking on the back of my phone it's ruining my whole system think there's a recall on it I haven't known that I wouldn't bout it and they want you to buy warranty for those phones which should come with at least manage a factory warranty non-removable battery

User's recommendation: Probably not phones are *** but service is great.

I called a rep and He told Me My account was cancelled, but I am still receiving bills.

I went to another service, so I called Straight Talk to cancel My account. I was unable to get voice mail with My new server, so I called Straight Talk again, and they resolved that issue. I thought I was all set, because the rep said I wouldn't be billed any more, but I keep getting billed.

User's recommendation: If You have Straight Talk, and want to cancel, You are in for a rough ride!!

Tried to upgrade my phone with no success do to poor customer service
