Why does my phone go to "emergency calls only" every year and I have to call ST and get a new sim card. We have been with ST for over 10 years and this has happened the past two years.

Inconvenient and frustrating. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know why ST does this? Considering getting away from ST.

They do this because the network is overcrowded with all of the lemmings flocking to their "Great deal", so they disable LOYAL customers' service because they figure you're not going anywhere if you haven't left yet.
