Straight Talk Wireless in Rocky Mount, North Carolina - Data Call Failure

A repeat of last months service....I have a Network error code 130 unable to establish wireless data connection....So I called Straight talk and they say I have used excessive data....The rep told me I was using my Huawei phone to tether. And because I have used data that was supposed to be "unlimited" they are suspending my data until I pay my bill next month. I just paid my bill and guess what...I have not used it except to check my email twice. A far as tethering, I didn't know the *** phones could tether and I also don't know how to. Since there is a class action suit, I am going to get in on it because this doesn't make sense to me.

I've been having the same problem since this past time I payed my bill. I guess ill be dropping the company next month if this is going to continue next month rather than wasting my money. **** that!!!!

Straight Talk Wireless in Clayton, New York - I can not send MMS messages

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy 3 through straight talk. First I had problems with accessing the internet. After calling customer service three times and each time getting transferred numerous times. None of them were able to help me. I finally figured out what I needed to do on my own. I got it to work, however they continued to tell me that the tower my phone works off of is down...blah blah blah...for a week now. Then... I call back again because my phone will not send or receive MMS messages. They made me reset my phone which I then lost all my apps, pictures etc... still has not worked... After being transferred 4 different times. the rep ended up again telling me I need at least 2 bars of service to send... such bull. I wish I would have just went and got a contract phone. Now I'm scared to send the phone back because I think they will screw me on my refund!!! so Upset. I would not recommend this service to anyone!!!

Straight Talk Wireless in Traverse City, Michigan - No texts, no roaming .. no nationwide service

I've had this phone now for a month, I get constant spam phone calls and texts however when my husband who also has Straight Talk tries to text me it fails. We live in a perfect coverage area yet constantly have 2 bars or less. Recently I traveled south to a large city and had NO coverage at all. Customer service are useless, I made a complaint on their facebook page and was called an #***!! Well this #*** is throwing their phone away and signing with a reliable service provider. Total loss so far $200+ for 2 phones and $75 for "service" we couldn't use most of the times.

Its Been a Month since I start Smartphone Service with Straight talk. My Internet has been Toggled Down fourth Times.

This is not Legal I have had no notice of being toggled nor the reason they just keep doing it. I was also told that when I put new Service card on my service would return to normal It did not.

I have had my phone for two weeks. My Internet Speeds were fine for about three days when I had got the phone. then it was Capped down. About two days ago it was capped down again. Now its slower then Dial Up. I have called customer service several times first time they thought it was my fault second time they sent me to a recording. Then I said why talk to inexperienced customer service. When I can talk to cooperate. I have been calling for the past 7 days trying to get some one and they have tried to call once and I was busy and when I called back they where not available.

This is because you are either heavily using data or watching videos on data which, if you read the terms and conditions, is against their policy and subject to data capping.

Straight Talk Wireless in Yuba City, California - Trac phone ? Straight Talk is the worst cell comp every!!!

June 1, 2013 About A month ago straight talk/ trac phone did a browser update and ever since my internet browser has been very slow and or not loading pages at all and if I clear history che and cookies I get a message from trac phone / straight talk that my browser experience has been improved / enhanced and to complete the update I need to enter my phone # so I did and then I'd go a few days and then clear my history and che and cookies and it pops back up again after 20 times of this I was irritated to say the least. so I called straight talk and was told they wouldn’t help me because I didn’t have another phone # they could call me back on and then he had the nerve to ask me to go use my neighbors phone at 9pm by a csr Mark ID #618967 first and then a manager named Joseph 56312 id # after arguing with Joseph for 20mins or so he told me to hang up with him turn my phone off and wait 2 mins and the turn my phone back on and he'd call me back this was 2 mins before 9pm p.s.t. waited 10 mins no call back and when I called them back they were closed for the day. (Can you say very bad business practices). So I call back the next day and got a manger Matt 43364 Id # at the corporate office he did the same thing told me he couldn’t help me without another # to call me back at. After arguing with him for 10 mins he finally helped so I thought. Matt had me go into my phones application and clear my browser and then I was told by matt I would get 20 days of free service for the aggravation and he ask if my browser was working ok I said yes and we ended the call. After the call I went to go to 1 of my bookmarks and they were all gone every bookmark I had for the last 1.5 years some of witch where ever imported where erased and Matt didn’t even have the intelligence to tell me before he had me clear my browser that this would happen nor did he ask if I need to back this info up if I could. What B.S.!! Also the supposed 20 days of free service I never got. My service ended 3 day latter as it was going to anyways. Again what B.S. And of course my browser still doesn’t work and every time I open it I have to enter my phone # to “complete the update” to improved/ enhanced my browser experience. So not only did I get lied to and jerked around I can’t use my browser and I was expecting 20 free day of service so I didn’t buy a new card because I thought “*** me” I’d have 20 more days and as I don’t drive I know have to take a cab to get a new card when I was at the store 2 days ago and if I’d known that straight talk was full of it and lying to me I could have got 1 then. I hope straight talk does something about this but I’m not gona hold my breath *** company *** csr’s and *** managers what a business.

I had to cancel my credit card to avoid being charged 5 or 6 times for one month. Every time I tried to cancel auto refill (which I never signed up for) I would get2more texts confirming auto refill!

It was like a hydra! Finally I just cancelled my card! :upset they even suggested that someone with my information was signing me up for it!

It was clearly a glitch in the system,why would an identity thief use my credit card info to pay 6 times for me to have one month of service? Take responsibility sheesh.

Straight talk customer service is really slow and bad. They do not have good coverage. Data is not unlimited, i called them many times they put in holds for hours. They lies lot. No data at all. Called the customer service many times and every times they transfer to other department ( Internet) but no ones takes the call even after waiting hours in holds. Finally line cuts itself. Again I called them , they said now it won't happen like before, they said I my call will be handle by another department but there was no one to take my calls, I tried from morning till late afternoon, but no one was there to talk about the problem. I told them to cancel my auto enrollment (my monthly billing), they did not help me to cancel it also. They told I can cancel anytimes, they are just there to charge money ( take action very soon) but to cancel they transfer line to other department and kept me in hold till I finish my cell phone battery charge. I m really sad, I even cannot cancel my payment. I don't know why they are so rude and not helping their customer. It is really sad to be straight talk customer.

IF I WANT THE VERY WORST IN THIRD WORLD SERVICE, I NEED LOOK NO FURTHER THAN STRAIGHT TALK, THEY SHOULD REVISE THEIR NAME TO"DOUBLE TALK", AND NO I'M DEFINATELY NOT FEELING RICHER, BUT RATHER A WHOLE LOT POORER AS THEY DO ALL THEY CAN TO STALL THE REFUND FOR A DEFECTIVE PHONE AND BARELY USED PHONE CARD TO THE TUNE OF ABOUT $240.00 it was their best phone. I RETURNED THE PHONE AS INSTRUCTED, HAVE PROOF THAT THEY RECEIVED IT, BUT THEY CONTINUE TO DENY THAT THEY EVER RECEIVED IT, WOW!

I ordered a large refurbished phone from straight talk, but the phone that was sent to me, was a small one instead. This is the most confusing phone that ive ever had. I cant get on internet, cant get my calls to go threw half the time. Its the worst *** I've ever dealt with. I'll never order from them again. Plus they have poor customer service. It sounds like someone talking from a foreign country. I am very unhappy and feel like I got ripped off. I want a refund but cant get one. What a joke! Dont order from these people!

Boost Mobile is same price (if you count the cost of HASSLE) and they have an amazing hotspot service that comes with their plans. Makes you wonder how much straighttalk is gouging us.

I mean UNLIMITED HIGH-SPEED DATA... that's exactly what it says yet it is in no sense of the word unlimited. It does say speeds may slow during busy times but that is understandable. CUTTING service because of use of an already purchased product is unbelievable, sad and oh so unprofessional.

Congratulations Straighttalk executives, you officially has THE WORST service that offers "unlimited" data.

You are sad and greedy and hide behind terms of service YOU HAVE TO USE THE INTERNET TO VIEW. I hope you treat your employees better than your customers but for some reason I highly doubt that.
