Tech support for this company is a complete joke. For a few months now, I've been suffering a lack of signal in my home where there used to be a strong signal. Customer support either cannot comprehend (due to language/accent barrier or tech incompetence) or does not care that my phone gets amazing signal from every other location I travel to. They have made me try a new sim card to no avail and keep trying to blame weather even though the problem persists in all weather. Now they're trying to force me to lose everything on my phone and perform a factory reset instead of actually reporting to Verizon or whoever they report to that the bloody tower in my area is malfunctioning - even though I've told them multiple times that other friends and family on both Straight Talk CDMA and Verizon are also suddenly suffering weak and non-existent signal in my home. It's frustrating and infuriating, and since I'm home most often I'm basically now paying 45 bucks a month for absolutely nothing. What's worse is my phone is now laggy and misbehaving, I believe due to the 'troubleshooting' steps they made me try, which involved ripping the battery out while my phone was turned on.

I just saw all these reviews and couldn't believe it. I switched to straight talk about 3 and a half years ago because Verizon wouldn't support the Nexus phone i was wanting and it was the best move I ever made. I always have great service... I buy any phone i want and pay cash for it. I don't have to worry about going over on data and I am not paying $125 a month like I was on verizon. I always have reception. I don't know what lies the people on here have been told when i read that the company lies but I have always found it to be a great company and the few times i have needed customer service they have been great.

Straighttalk Wireless Is A JOKE! So RUDE AND LIERS! They Do NOT take responsibility for themselves or honor what they say they will do when u go without a phone for over a month. I had to call 2 or 3 times a week for 3 weeks in a row and everytime i had to explain the entire ordeal to the person i talked to. Then they would tell me they had to do the exact same thing that the person i talked to days before had already done. I waited for my replacement phone for over a month and every time i called they could not tell me why or when i was going to receive it. I called the corporate office multiple times after a month of dealing with rude straighttalk people and getting nowhere, left multiple messages with multiple people and no response from anyone. So when i finally recieved my phone over a month later, i was told i would get my service that i purchased that they put on hold for me PLUS they were going to give me A Free Months Service for all my troubles. Well when i called to get my free service after the service i paid for ran out, they said nope sorry we are not doing that. I asked to speak to their supervisor they had been consulting with and she said No i could not talk to them and refused to even give me the supervisors name. Said i could not talk with ANYONE but her. I could not belive the SUPERVISOR refused to talk to me or give their name, thats horrible work ethics. There is NO EXCUSE for straighttalks behavior. They are the most disrespectful unorganized lying company ever!!!! If it wernt for us PAYING customers they would NOT exists. They do not value their customers at all! Im calling the BBB as soon as i am done here. I have all info from EVERY call i have made to them in the past 3 months.

Why do i have to call every month to get help with deleting my profile and turn my wifi on and off and a number of other instructions!! This is a time consuming process that cannot be done on your own!! I am told its because i have a iphone!! Everyone i know with a iphone has this problem! I have a terrible time understanding the person on the other end, there english is awful! They read off a sheet in front of them and it has nothing to do with your problem! I am going back to Verizon pay as you go ,it will be worth the couple of extra dollars!!!

My daughter has had straight talk for 2 years because of where we live, and it is the most worst service ever! She loves to watch Christian info on You Tube, but only after 5 days, all of her video play runs out! Every time she calls customer service, which has been at least 20 times!, she never gets anyone who speaks English, plus they never know what to do!!!!! 45 dollars a month and it is awful!! She did have Boost mobile for $35 a month and her video or data NEVER ran out but she can't get it anymore because of where we live! There are no Straight talk offices in our area and the employees at Walmart never have a clue about the phones! We just purchased a card yesterday, and she still has no video play, and when she called them, they told her that she had to wait until today for it to work!! Still doesn't!!! I think we have no other option but to contact the Better Business Berea! What a nightmare and a rip off!!!!!! Lori Hancock 217-260-9698

Your complaints weren't even worth the review and made no sense at all. They clearly state you can't use it as a hotspot.

They may not let you pick an exact number but they give you a set of numbers to choose from and if you don't like them then they will give you more numbers to choose from. Anyway if you're running a business using Straight Talk phones you should probably stop selling drugs.
