Your customer service department sucks. You can't get anyone on the phone that you can understand they try to speak English but they just can't. If you really cared about your customers you would get people that speak English to try and fix the problems with phones. Your reps think by turning your phone off and on will fix everything but it doesn't and when you ask to be transferred to a manager or someone else that you can understand you get attitude and God forbid that you say *** because then that is all the rep wants to talk about. After being on the phone with them for hours trying to get your problems fixed with no resolve they make you want to cuss and pull out your hair. You can't get to anyone in the corporate office either because they number they have for the headquarters puts you in the automated machine and right back to the reps that don't speak English. If corporate had to deal with the customer service reps they would want to clean house but I guess if you pay cheap wages you get people that can't speak English and is not even in the United States.

I have been a straight talk unlimited customer for 5 years. I had awesome service UNTIL they increased data useageto 5G. Now my Internet connection is slow or is constantly buffering or dropping all together. I'm very ticked off because the service should be better not worse with the upgrade! Guess I will be swapping soon to Verizon! Boo to you Straight Talk!!

I DO NOT recommend ANYONE to get straight talk. I have had them for the longest time & I understand I use my internet a lot so it would run out, but even though it ran out I could still use the Internet, including sending & receiving picture messaging but it would slow down. I contacted straight talk to let them know my picture messaging stopped working & the lady told me she was the manager refused to give me her name or employee number & told me I could only send pics to anyone else using an iPhone (like myself) & I told her it confuses me how even though I ran out of Internet I could always send pics but now I can't. She was extremely rude !! I will be switching plans. Whoever is thinking about switching to straight talk DON'T DO IT !!

I recently bought a 30 day data plan, and could never get service. After about three weeks of trying and getting the run a round, I ask for a rebate. I will never try to use Straight Talk again for data service.

I also bought the BYOT activation kit from Walmart, & had the same issues of being disconnected after 30+ minutes on the phone. It has been 5 days now and still no service. I am planning go going back to AT&T. I suggest that tablet service from StraightTalk should be discounted. I will inform everyone I know,about the poor service from customer service. This is all BS. Requiring words. Ive been on and off the phone with st customer care for 9 hours now and they keep telling me the to do the same thing. They say my phone is activated and i have funds on my account, but my phone is still not working. Ive been told to update my phone software but i cant because i have no service or connection to do so. And ive connected to wifi, but when i go to update software the wifi turns off and i get nowhere. ive tried the whole reboot phone and my phone has been finalizing the update for 3 hours!!!! I am extremly upset ive wasted my entire day messing with this horrible company. I am very up set. and to top it off they wont refund me the money i put on my account (That i will never get to use)

Same thing. Numerous calls, chats, hang ups, etc.

They keep quoting mantra, "we are updating system, you will have to update your APN settings in order to continue using data.".

To which I reply "I have done so as instructed, but it still does not work." After hearing this enough times I have come to the conclusion that their updates are not complete, and that nothing will work until they are. However they will not give me an estimated date of when the upgrades will be complete.
