We own 4g samsungs they almost never connect at that speed they seem always to be throttled if you use more than two minutes of internet, our data use can be under 1Gb it dont help. My older samsung was always at 2 & 3 G speeds.

I 'd complain to CS dept. and hold forever then aswer a ton of questions about my life story and wahm it got 4G speed... for a day or two then back to square one. So finally i thought maybe there was not enough 4G towers in my area so I down graded to a 3G phone thinking at least i wonth be stuck at this 2G stuff my old phone kept dropping to.

Wrong that phone stays almost always at 1G like right now and my data usage is below 1Gb i cant use up my band width cause i can hardly even get on line.

This is fixed on the newer LTE phone though it always say connected "LTE" but the video play and down load speed is really slow as 2G if it is used more than two minutes at a time, so i hear about this new service " Cricket " about 15% cheaper with more bandwith... guess i'll be seeing them next month

Does anyone else have to get a new sim card every year? My phone goes into "emergency calls" the past two years and I cannot get service until getting a new sim card sent from Straight Talk.

So for about 5-6 days, no phone service. I cannot get an answer as to why we have to do this.

We have been with ST for over 10 years. Looking to change service carriers if can't get an answer.

That is what they always sent or say and do not fix the problem...very dishonest CS...rude..hang up..hit dial thousands of time to make you hang up..bunch of crazies that just want a pay check
