About two years ago I got straight talk wireless to save money and the caller ID on my wife’s landline would always show the name of a woman who had my number before me and Straight Talk said they would take care of it and it could not seem to be fixed then they sent me a new Sim card which also did not fix it and finally I gave up About a year later I was trying to reach a hospital administrator that I was trying to contract with ( I had contracted with them in the past ) and he only saw the name on the caller ID which was not mine and so he did not answer the phone Later he even commented about me using a phone company that could not get the caller ID corrected So after this happened I called up Straight Talk and changed my phone number and they told me it would all be fine and dandy but now my Caller UD showing a different person’s name And again and I’ve contacted them and they couldn’t get me off the chat fast enough They said that someone would be calling me back in 15 minutes and that was 45 minutes ago I like everything else about Straight Talk which is owned by TracFone wireless but I cannot live with this situation any longer What really baffles me is how the wrong name can be in the system but they can’t change it to the correct name

They obviously have a system which can display the name of someone who had the phone number before me but they cannot correct it and I have been hung up on before by customer service more than once trying to get this corrected It seems as though my only recourse is to change to a different phone service and I wish that somebody in charge at Straight Talk or TracFone wireless could have this problem And not be able to have it corrected
