They want me to pay them to remove their network from a phone. I bought and paid for that phone and I don't owe them a dime, so what gives them the right to hold my phone hostage until I paid him some more money.

What in the heck is that crap, I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and have four phones on their service at this time, but I want for long. I was going to give the phone to my son, but that's okay, I will buy him another one, and you can believe it won't be straight talk. That is a crooked and Immoral business practice if I ever saw one.

There is no way that is legal. (Or it sure shouldn't be any)

User's recommendation: DO NOT USE STRAIGHT TALK SERVICE!!!

Preferred solution: I would like for them to disconnect my phone from their Network without trying to charge me for it..
