I have used straight talk for several years. I called customer service because I got a new phone and could not get the internet.
Since I pay for the unlimited plan, I wanted it fixed. I spent over an hour on the phone and then the lady told me that my phone would not accept the APN setting because my phone was a bring your own phone program. After I got off the phone a co worker took my phone and I had internet with in 10 minutes.
I think the customer service agents need more training and need to know what they are talking about before telling the customers that they have to buy a new phone to get the internet when they don't. The problem was that they were giving me the wrong APN.
