Straighttalk has been getting over for two months | Straight Talk Wireless review from Dale City, Virginia

I started off fine then after a few months I decided to enroll in straighttalk auto re-fill. which was supposed to be free ,but two days later they took an extra $45.27 out of my bank account. So I called them and ended up having to talk to the supervisor because nobody could help me and he told me not to worry my money would be given back to me with in 7 to 10 days and that it was normal, that a lot of people call in complaining about the same thing all the time. so I waited. and more than ten days later still no money. I called once again , spent an hour on the phone talking to 3 different lady's, all with broken english trying to tell me that I can't get my money back claiming that they never received another payment. they were all rude, unconsidered, and nonchalant with me and my money.and they never let me speak to the supervisor who had told me I had originally spoke too. in the end I was told that I get another month free to compensate me for losing my money. and I got the lady's name. but the following month after sending a text message to my phone saying that my money was accepted and I would be getting a that month free basically, they send me another message saying that my payment was declined and turn my phone off. tf , how do you tell me im going to get a month free after you basically stole my money and then turn around and take it from me again. I absolutely hate straighttalk and would never let anyone buy their phones or get their plans, because though it may be a good deal it is definitely NOT worth the hassle with these *** foreigners cheating people out their money. its ***! and I definitely planning on changing my phone service because there customer service is Horrible!!!

Lying CSR | Straight Talk Wireless review from Woodbridge, Virginia

The Straight Talk custumer service reps researches our phones based on emei number and told us that the phones were compatible with the Straight Talk system.. The CSR then sold us the activation kits for $120 based on that the phone compatibility. When we tried to activate the phones we were told that they were not compatible and we could not get a refund as the kite were not refundable. What bunch of scammers and thieves this outfit is. The CSR line takes forever and the reps are rude and speak very poor English. I have read over 1000 complaints that were identical to mine.

I have only had my straighttalk phone for 2 weeks and I'm already having issues! I have a big error message on the screen covering all of my apps and no one can figure out how to fix it. I spent over an hour on the phone with 4 different people and they agreed to replace my phone. Fine, Ive done that before but, they want me to mail in my phone 1st and wait for a replacement! I even offered to pay a deposit so that I didn't have to go w/out a phone for 2 weeks and they wouldn't work with me at all! Thought I would save some $ but you really do get what you pay for! :(

I've had straight talk for about six months now. I went into my phone to retrieve information from a voice mail message I saved about four weeks ago.

The only messages in my phone are from within the last week. I called straight talk to find out what happened to my messages. An hour later, and two people and two "supervisors" later, I still don't have an answer. I learned through my cousin who works for Verizon that when they say they will speak to a supervisor, they're actually not speaking to anyone.

They just put us on hold. Bottom line, you are right that you get what you pay for.

I guess I was expecting too much out of $45 a month. I'm going back to sprint and am willing to pay double.

POOR customer service | Straight Talk Wireless review from Richmond, Virginia

The reception has been overall pretty good with straight talk, however please don't ever have to get a new phone. My husband has encountered 3 different situations with straight talk in which his business phone has been turned off, even though we have the unlimited plan. When one phone broke and a new one purchased we were still charged for the old and new phone. The worse part is that each time there is a problem I am on the phone no less than an hour and up to 2 1/2 hours. This is very annoying. Please get people who can understand English.

Purchased a smartalk phone at Walmart. *** at Walmart said the phone I was buying would work in my area. Went to Smartalk website to set up my account, but it wouldn't let me. I just had my data suspended yesterday. I haven't used any more than usual.

They said it's "unlimited" for normal daily use. When I asked them what normal use was and what I used they could not answer me. Unlimited means no limit. They recommended that I download an app for monitoring my data, but what good would that do if I don't know what the "unlimited" limit is?

This is false advertisment and bait and switch and should be unlawful. I want a class action lawsuit against them and to see walmart pull their products from the shelf. I want a specific number of gigabites I'm alloted per month or a refund of $150 for my phone and reimbursed for the remainder of the month that my data is suspended.

And even when that's all said and done, They should pay out for undue stress of the situation and struggling to understand their technical support with tbeir thick accents and "Limited" knowledge. BOYCOTT STRAIGHT TALK

Can't recieve texts without calling a number! | Straight Talk Wireless review from Radford, Virginia

So a couple months ago I get my Huawei Ascend Y from straight talk and the $45 unlimited plan. I start using my data a lot because it did say "Unlimited." I noticed that after about a month my data was getting really slow, so I decided to call the tech support, long story short they say that my phone has been using a lot of data and that it is being throttled, although, after the 30 days of service, it's suppossed to reset and for the next 30 days of service no throttling, right? Nope, not at all. It just got slower and slower and now it randomly cuts off. Getting to my main rant, my phone worked great (besides the data issues) for the first month or two, but now I can't recieve texts without having to call a random number (I.E, my voicemail), after a few seconds into the call the text/s would foward onto my phone. I call tech support again and after being transferred about 4 times, I finally reach a guy that I can understand. I tell him the problem, we run through a couple of methods to try and fix my phone and nothing works, so he tells me that I will recieve a box in the mail with instructions to put my phone in the box, then I will have another phone (same model) shipped to my house, everything will be transferred FOR FREE. After he gets my address, name, secondary number and all of that hoopla, he THEN goes on to tell me that shipping charges would be around $60, when he said EVERYTHING was free, shipping and all. In the end, it's been about 5 days since I called tech support to get that shipped and guess what, still haven't got it. I hope everyone learns a lesson from this. If you recieve a screwed up phone from Straight Talk or they mess with your coverage and plan, then can't get it working right, it's suppossed to be YOUR fault, when they sold you the phone and it's suppossed to have warrenty on it.
